Grib, part of the reason I don't explain myself is that I can't. My train of thought doesn't articulate very well. (Additionally, it's a case by case basis. At this point, the only thing I can explain that I remember is that I had a darn good reason for thinking that they are scum, so they stay scum for me, but I can't exactly remember why)

Letting you get away with keeping your reasoning a secret means scum could try and do that to fly under the radar. I don't like that.

Well, I'd have to reread the entire game, and even then, I don't think I'd get the same thoughts, but I could try.

And I'm not trying to fly under the radar. As evident by me having the most posts. I'm a compulsive poster when I play. It's impossible for me to fly under the radar, even when I try.

I do that on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes it makes sense to do that, other times it does. That was one of the few times that it did.

Page 2: farside's saying "this is something my son watched" leaves me uneasy. It was a "crumb" about her flavor, even though nobody asked for it. I know it doesn't give much at all, but it still leaves me uneasy.

Ok, KDowns, I know this is a long shot, because you never seem to post anymore, but I want you to read Cyberpunk Mafia and Machina Mafia. I don't care your opinions about meta, just do it. (and if you want comparison for scum games, look at SaGa Frontier and/or Metal Gear Solid V). Your statement annoys me to no end when you said "he wants claims and actions before he'll start scumhunting". Well, yes. That's how I scum hunt. Words and statements are up to interpretation, but actions and claims are black and white. The only thing left to sort out is the plausibility for each one, and then its reasoning.
