It's okay
I waffled again on Titus. The issue here is that bork/Cakez interactions and repeated attempts to force her through overwhelmingly point to Titus town. Titus's play around them, with the exception of the weird bit about dropping me to push Cakez D1, reads the opposite.
I bet she's town but shit's hard yo.- Prism

I took written notes but at some point I just kind of decided to power through, I might go back and collate them at some point.
T->S
========
Spiffeh-Mech clear to me
Dunn-See previous posts, flashwagon is not the start of it, counter to scum wagon several times, would be a really dumb early bus from Cakez
Tammy-2437 we should never be voting this slot
Pooky-idk townbear good shit w/ Cakez+bork
MathBlade-Fuck it I'm just calling this slot town after D2/D3 and Cakez trying to get him off his back repeatedly. That Day 1 is still terrible though
notsci-Doublebussing in a mech-heavy closed game. Bold.
BM-Has some ok interactions with Cakez but overall lackluster. Most town thing was probably his D3 Cakez vote.
Titus-I have wanted Titus to be town but this ISO is a flaming dumpster fire, they are town because bork/Cakez pushed them and for the weird stuff w/ me/Cakez Day 1 and that is LITERALLY IT. Pushing Cakez clear for being the counter, wants to yeet in likely all town pool, voting notsci end of day and holding out on Cakez vote- Prism

If I were to go just based off Cakez/bork/mastina Titus is way at the top of the townreads but her actual stances and play just drag her all the way down to the bottom of the readslist. I might go back and revisit the Day 1 wagon again but fundamentally if Cakez/bork decided they gotta bus Day 1 they gotta bus Day 1. The real +town thing here was Cakez shutting down a quiet wagon when Titus was the alternative iirc.
YOLO- Prism

yeet
I'd say if you wanted to see what I'm talking about w/ MB's Day 1, 1605 up through the 1800s is a good starting point.
Titus has some great interaction moments, like:
-1301
-1903 is one of the best posts in the entire game
-2051
-1271 about Cakez failing to meta me
-1645
-Cakez 1391
-Cakez 1570 about having her dead to rights
these all will make me feel very stupid if she flips town but the rest of the ISO is a shitshow- Prism

What makes Day 1 so terrible is that it's just so plausible to me that Cakez was unsure whether or not they could get Dunnstral Day 1 with competing scum wagons, MathBlade goes "I bet we can" in the PT, and they say fuck it and go for it
That said I don't see a world where we really lose this anymore- Prism

Cakez takes awhile to get on Titus:but when he gets there he stays on, repeatedly turns down opportunities to wagon other players up until the Dunn wagon is the only hope of avoiding Cakez/mastina flip.Spoiler: Wall 1
There are still some MB/Cakez interactions that make me go UGHHHHHHHHHHH MAYBE JUST VOTE BM but yeah. My turn Tammy.Spoiler: Wall 2

I mean I waffle on you/MB/Titus but I've been pretty clear in giving convictions+laying out specifically what is town or scum about each of the slots.
I agree that I've spammed and worked myself into a knot where no matter who is scum I'm just going to go "??? You really thought this was a good idea?"
But Pooky's right, and you can be that 'town leader' if you don't like it being me working myself into a knot or Spiffeh waiting until later tonight to contribute.- Prism

Pooky's been bussing the entire game even if he wasn't actually vote Cakez for most of it.
notscience/bork/Cakez were 3 way bussing each other yesterday, every man for himself.
Titus got hardshoved by Cakez/bork for eons and both passed up chances to flip to town slots in order to stay there.
MathBlade is MathBlade and that Day 1 aversion to voting Mastina was horrendous but Day 2 on was shoving Cakez, and had some very crisp interactions w/ Cakez Day 1.
In comparison my towncase for you is sometimes it seemed like Cakez was inviting me to push you. He did the same for bork.
I am absolutely voting the person I think is most likely to flip scum atm even if I flop around for the scumcase on those slots.- Prism

And that starts with you. Any time you want to talk about notscience, we can, but aimlessly berating us for not being good enough while simultaneously crying out "but I'm not good enough to do better!" is baffling.
I have given more than enough for you to engage with, both in collated form and in random snippet form. I just gave you starting points for why the other slots looked town.- Prism

Like this whole emphasis on good player, town leader, me pursuing kudos, is just bizarre given that I have spent the entire last 3 hours saying "Yeah I dunno my thoughts are all mixed up" and voting whoever I immediately think is scum.
I blatantly do not know the last scum, am very confused, and am more than okay admitting that from the getgo, since this seems to be important to you.
So you can push me, push notscience, or do something else now that I am safely put in my place and not vying for public postgame approval.- Prism

If you just let me read 175 pages under the assumption you were scum as town I am going to take those fins and shove them somewhereIn post 4460, borkjerfkin wrote:being on the way out has sapped my motivation here. sorry for that.
i'm town though; let me get settled in and i'll make one last big push here

This game is now just penguin_alien's Mutual Support Home for the Depressed, Insane, & Aging Scummers
Apartment 101 has Tammy. She hasn't showered in a week, her hair is a mess, but she's got wine, a PS1, and a CD player with all the 2000s hits.
Apartment 102 has MathBlade. The room is covered in lines, tacks, and post it notes. Trying to enter is forbidden, you might step on something and disrupt the whole chain. There's a "no smoking" sign on the front door. We slip food in and it always gets eaten.
Apartment 103 has Prism. Inside, they lay on a mess of printed out pages of the game. Sometimes they mention a fateful trip to Fix Flags with MathBlade, but usually you just hear variants of "I don't know" and "I've lost control of my life"
Up on the second floor we have Titus in 201, she tries to get out sometimes but feels her best mafia days are behind her.
202 has Battle Mage. He grew up idolizing heroes, and wanted to be a sidekick one day. At some point he realized they weren't real and never would be, and now he waits alone, cold and jaded.
In 203 is Spiffeh. He's like Titus but worse, because he insists that magic is real and that one day he'll live in Disneyland again. For now, he just watches Fantasia on VHS day after day. His room smells of cheese left to mold and rot in various corners.
None of us are really sure if the stuffed animals that are borkjerkfin and Pooky can really talk or not. Answers vary. The one thing the whole house can agree on is that they saw the stuffed bear eat a whole cake one day.
notscience works the front desk, he's not a real resident but sometimes he feels like it. He tells us about his hopes, his dreams, or when he's just having a bad day. We all hope he gets out of here someday.
Dunnstral comes by and visits sometimes just because his mom makes him after school. Sometimes he secretly enjoys it.- Prism

I swear to God I have seen Spiffeh online a million times and he just watches
watches
and watches us all, so small, so pitifully human, thrashing in the abyss
But above the gray land and the spasms of bleak dust which drift endlessly over it, you perceive, after a moment, the eyes of Spiffeh M. Paragon. The eyes of Spiffeh are black and gigantic—their retinas are one yard high. They look out of no face, but, instead, from a pair of enormous rodent eyeballs which pass over a non-existent nose- Prism

We literally have 4 guesses if bork dies tonight, and if he doesn't he seriously fucked up for scumclaiming because as scum is actually incentivized to save him regardless.
So maybe I just shouldn't worry so much tbh, and I will almost certainly see tomorrow unless scum wants to leave Spiffeh/Pooky/Tammy all alive.
Reviewing BM there's still no town silver bullet, unfortunate. Just random tonal oneliners with Cakez (ex. "Use it on me" for Cakez's power). A small sidenote that's really angleshooty but we've actually seen two main characters as fakeclaims. Bork was softing Myka all of Day 1, which is why I believed the Farnsworth claim. Cakez had Jinks as a fakeclaim. 3 main characters would be...interesting.
I'm probably going to case MathBlade for the sake of it, because I think it's him or BM. Pooky paranoia has shot way down now that bork has actually scumclaimed. Titus is a bit more up in the air but the interactions here are just home run after home run. Thinking on my nightly drive his play today is strange. There's none of the celebratory triumph/bizarre delusionary flexing I would expect after Day 2. The 1v1 with me he didn't even get remotely excited thinking he actually caught me. There was zero interest in any of the mechanics around the Tammy guilty on Bork, and very little interest in the Farnsworth, and no celebration, no mechanical questioning, nothing.- Prism

Mmmmm, nah. It can wait for tomorrow, gameday wise. We should have a lot of mechanical power leftover, I shouldn't be getting nightkilled, and I have a hard time believing we won't get at least one clear in me/notsci/Math/Titus out of it. Even a single one should be enough to bring this home.
VOTE: BM
If this doesn't get hammered I might get around to casing tomorrow (irl) but we'll see.
Shouldn't be investigating outside of MB/Titus/notsci/me, in my preference order but yours may vary.- Prism

At this point I'm again just wondering if we want to speedgame and call it a day. Titus is kind of starting to play now but everyone else is AWOL
There's a bucket here of (Math, Titus, BM, notsci, me) which is currently ordered but my preference seems to depend on what I had for breakfast that morning or what page I happened to read last. The Pooky scumcase is literally just how playground fighting page 80 is.
We have literally 4 guesses, we can burn all of those and as long as we have one investigative shot it's fine. - Prism
