A group of survivors of the crash pick up a transmission of a French woman repeating a message for 16 (hey that's one of the numbers) years. Later, a disgraced Sayid, fresh from torturing an innocent Sawyer, discovers the woman named Danielle Rousseau who has been on the island for a long time.
