i don't want to go to the next day phase with them being like "oh we were going to but didn't have time to do it yesterday and now were can't do it anymore" or something like that - basically just wanna limit the possibilities

Well, it’s worthless to think otherwise because it literally doesn’t matter. We can’t do anything about it.

I just think it’s a poor design if that were the case because taken out for 2 days, that’s insane. That’s unfun. I don’t think that’s happening, and regardless, Maid Scum doesn’t win from that no matter what. It’s not just not gonna be resolved.
