Senator Senpai, we have explained Our Reasoning in
Our initial missive condemning the traitor Vecna. However, We shall grant your request, despite the impertinent manner of your plea.
Vecna, once a Senator, a respected member of this conclave, has used his exalted position to manipulate the destiny of Imperial Rome to his own advantage. We find that, in the first session of the Senate, he attempted to emerge as a leading voice in this body, directing the Senate where he wished. While it is fair to say that others misattribute the final push to condemn the belated Senator Beeboy to Vecna, and that that crime belongs to others, such a final push would not have been possible without
ample groundwork being laid by the heathen Vecna. To disavow himself of the sad result is dishonest and utterly unrealistic, an abdication of his responsibility for this tragedy.
Further, we find the apostate Vecna's agenda to be wholly self-serving. He has repeatedly, on occasions too numerous to recount in a cogent fashion, demonstrated concern for himself over the welfare of the Roman people. We regard with disgust his propensity to counter-attack those who criticize him, seemingly without regard for the facts of the case. He has consistently reacted to judicious suspicion of his person with outrage and over-the-top false rage at his detractors.
Finally, we point to his recent antics, in which he flails about and lashes out at anyone in reach to blame his woes upon. He appeals writ large to the emotions of other Senators, attempting to sway them not with logic but with crocodile tears. We find
the act of casting a vote against himself contemptible, and his quick removal of said vote cringe-worthy.
We command all loyal Senators to consider Our words and vote in accordance with your duty to Rome and your Emperor.
Augustus Caesar

Okay, say we lynch Vecna.
Now we're back to this dillema: Who volunteers to be the next day's lynch if Vecna flips town?

Senator Creature, you disappoint Us. Your question is disingenuous, and belongs in the mouths of those less loyal to Glorious Rome. I will endeavor to reply, however.
Should Vecna's true loyalty be established following his removal from the Senate chamber, we are presented with a series of quandaries. First, how could noble Caesar be wrong? The answer is that while your Emperor is infallible in His Judgment, He is only as good as the information provided to Him, and His messengers and scribes are but mere mortals. Mortal men are fallible.
Recognizing that mistakes in the Senate chamber occasionally occur, We would hazard to postulate that the business of governing Rome would continue as usual, The first order of business would be to hunt down villains who conspired against Senator Vecna and deceived His Majesty's Judgment. Senator Vecna's statements in council would be viewed with new light, and his suspicions would be given greater weight. Our attention would turn to Senators Yuri and Rampage, among others, though a grain of salt shall be added to Vecna's words due to his uncontrolled and wild behavior.
We have enjoyed this thought exercise, but consider it no more than such, as we are quite certain of the barbarian Vecna's guilt.

The block that strongarmed beeboy consisted of people that are either abr (up for lynch) or have replaced out.
Try again
Washing your hands of the beeboy lynch does not sit well with me.
At all
Gimme a break
VOTE: Vecna
So basically your reason for voting me is because u dont like following the people that strongarmed beeboy.
Yet thats exactly what your doing now by following abr onto me.
Answer me point blank: whose mofe responsible for beeboy mislynch, me or abr and spiffeh?
Exactly, youre proven full of crap. Your reasoning is flawed and youre just looking for excuses to get me lynched over abr while the reasoning provided means you should be voting abr.
So put your money where your mouth is. Scum.
I voted you because you lied about.
You were pushing a beeboy lynch long before ABR even made it to the thread and started playing.
In fact you challenged me on my beeboy = town read.
You're STILL trying to push me as scum too.
You had your chance early on, you missed it.

You announced it with vulgar prose and ill wit. We Proclaimed it earlier and with much grander style.
We shall allow you this indulgence, as We are aware that imitation is a form of flattery, oft considered the highest. We accept your approbation.

No one wants to be instalynched if they're wrong on someone. Though, if like 3-4 (or more) players volunteer, we have some votes of confidence.
Scum either will have to volunteer or risk being seen as low-hanging wagoner and possibly getting the wagon swayed to them.

Senator Creature, we again find your words nonsensical and disingenuous. While We accept the notion that Our Judgment is only as good as the information We receive, and contemplate the idea that Our Perfection may be faulty due to the misinterpretation of facts, We do not consent to the violation of Our Person should this unthinkable event occur. Your proposal is preposterous, and no loyal patrician of Rome should agree to the notion. That is, quite simply, not how the game of the Senate is played.

Senator nancy, your visage brightens our day. Are you available for discourse? We find Ourself disposed to discussion for the nonce, and would use this time to develop a better understanding of you and your intentions.
Senator Creature, you become tiresome. It could be said that anyone in My Own Position who ventures forth with such distinction hazards Their Own Reputation with such strong condemnation. Be ye satisfied and silent, or participate in Our Discourse productively.

Hmm, I like Notice's response to me. I may have just gotten the idea that Jae = scum and confbiased their complaints into scummy when they're probably NAI.
I think i understand what you meant here, and I felt the same way. Which once again shows me we have the same thought process. Good.
(That is, if youre just not simply copying me since everything we think is creepily similair
)
Didn't even realize you felt the same (assuming you're talking about Notice and not the lion thing).

At the moment I suspect Yuri, ABR, ssbm, Vecna, and Leonshade of conspiring against the Senate in that order of likelihood.
I have Math, Senpai, Aslan, Creature, Fro99er and you sorted as Town of varying strengths. You're vouching for Nero and I have no strong objections to that at this time.

Senator nancy We are fluent in the vernacular tongue. While We regard it as a mark of accorded respect to address Us properly, We shall not require it. We understand that most Senators assembled here have been raised from the ranks of ordinary patricians, even elevated from lowly plebians, and do not expect you to meet the high standard of speech which We hold Ourself to.
We encourage you to retire to your chambers. We shall continue Our discussion when you are fresh and rested.
