Try. I stopped scum from totally wrecking the game. So what happens if you fail? We waste a BP? Perfect time to work those persuasion/negotiation muscles.

Some other reads might help.

@RC, Just how would that work? I don't have you as locktown but any person dumb enough to include you in arena would certainly be suiciding.

Protect
Choose by majority vote a player to make immune to one nightkill for the rest of the game.
This immunity will fail if the player is non-Vanilla
or has been targeted with the Reveal power. The Mafia may not kill after this.
Have you actually read this, Creature?

Protect also means no NK that night, so how would that benefit scum?

I’m not so sure it’s Chem anymore. Creature is opposing protect too damn hard.

He was hardpushing venge before that.

So why is Creature so eager to see RC dead? This should be concerning to everyone.

First he is adamantly opposed to 4-in-coalition veto, then he is fine with both of us being thrown in there. Now, he is fine with RC dying.

Dann could have been right about Creature scum all along.

It’s not even for the entire game, only ONE NK. Are you familiar with the phrase, “Methinks the lady doth protest too much”?

Pretty much everyone has locked in Chemist as the scum in Chemist/Creature pairing. This could very well read as when Chemist flips town. Your play this entire game has been uncharacteristically survivalistic as Titus said earlier, where as Chemist’s really hasn’t.

If Sky and me had been in veto along with Chemist/Clemency, both of us would probably be dead and everyone would logically think that Chemist/Clemency surviving doesn’t tell us jack, which would make perfect sense why scum!you would have been okay with that.

Tell me Creature, why does scum!RC offer to sheep my coalition so long as I substituted you for Chennis? If he’s “deepscum” here and you’re town, why does he do this?

@NF, Making RC immune to a nightkill effectively makes it too difficult for scum to ever kill him. That's a great position for a deep wolf. Scum also don't want RC around though.

I still think Arena is the better option but only because RC has a zero percent chance of dying in arena unless RC attempts to go off reservation. If we all agree Creature/Chemist are the deaths, we are good. Creature and Chemist flip, then we protect RC.

This is why I am confused about RC protect first. Doing that invites paranoia as there's no way he should die before hand and arena is scripted.

All protect does is protect the selected player from “ONE nightkill”, so why is Creature flipping out over that? His reaction to us voting protect is extremely way over the top if he’s town here because there is no vig, so it doesn’t “protect descum”, only town from
one
freaking NK and nothing else.

It doesn’t make him immune, only to ONE attempt. If scum really wants to kill RC that badly, they would just have to try twice and obviously forfeit one NK. That would also be true for anyone whom the Protect is used on. It is a protown, so long as it’s used on a likely NK target - because whether it were to be used on RC or someone else, say me for example -
it still forces scum to forfeit one NK to kill the player who is protected
. So, it is an extremely protown thing to vote for.

I prefer RC because if you guys want to get my take on anything, you still would have the Call a Friend power to vote on.

If we do Arena before Protect, than scum can kill RC before we can vote Protect. True or False?

False, mostly. I mean if all town, including RC, agree that Creature/Chemist is the nomination, then no...if things go as expected. Arena has no scumkill.

The only reason protect would not be done is if both Creature and Chemist flipped town.

Yes. However, scum cannot afford to have to kill a slot twice with a clear path to victory laid out. If we hit 1 scum with 8 alive and venge, the game is auto win. Maybe lower.

But scum chooses the gladiator not town and their pick has complete control over their two challengers. The only vote town has is to decide between them or neither.
