if we think that ss is just going to turn around and be the elim tomorrow contingent on titus town flip then i think that's probably a sign we should turnstyle

setup spec wise i guess can see more reason for a lover pair that starts in opposite threads to be S-T (town has to spend resources getting them to the same thread for a potential reward) and it makes a T-T pair that starts in opposite threads that we were willing to spend a resource to turnstyle only for them to both flip town just a big "haha u fell for lava trik fuck you" (this is how i would see it when designing this at least)

conversely i see a lover pair that starts in the same thread probably viable from either T-T or S-T

I dont think SS is ballsy enough to sit at T-1 as a scum, its just a massive EV swing and a bonus elim - even if he were to unvote himself and straight up scum-claim, he would be wasting one of our elims on him so that should be better for the scum than just giving us a bonus elim on a platter.

He just seems like more of a conservative player, I don't know if anyone else has a better insight into his mindset.

The pressure at E-1 is crazy, and he sounds like he just doesnt care - like I have trouble sleeping when I do these kinds of gambits and he frankly just doesnt seem phased at all - its like hes decided its mech-good and so hes fine with it because from his pov it is the best play mechanically.

I am celebrating New Years with family, I'll try to check in periodically.

like yea its possible he has decided to gambit and hope nobody hammers him out of the game. but like theres actually town motivation to take the bonus elim anyway because it moves us from evens to odds and its a limited time availability so I dont see how scum!ss can reasonably expect us to not take a free shot on him when its available?
