Newbie 1101 - Game over!

Here are the first two pages' events:

• Incognito asks me for an avatar. I respond, and he and Grimmjow approve of it.
  
• RVS occurs.
  
• dk_peace starts RQS.
  
• VM rants about how threads slack off after a lynchless week, indirectly implying that he wants a quicklynch.
  
• Grimmjow starts fishing, according to Incognito.
  
• Incognito asks about sanchocolates’s unvote from him. sanchocolates responds a bit later.
  
• sanchocolates askes more RQS stuff, and Incognito gets a bit fed up with him.
  
• Incognito asks sanchocolates about the Grimmjow vote. sanchocolates says that Grimmjow’s fishing was suspicious, but not enough to warrant a revote.
  
• Incognito and sanchocolates clear up things between each other that have to deal with the difference between “fishing” and “fishy”.
  
• Grimmjow refutes that he was fishing, but also mentions something about this being his first time. sanchocolates and cjdrum argue otherwise. VM stays neutral, but offers helpful points about not starting on such a sensitive topic.
  
• Grimmjow responds to the various comments about the supposed “fishing”.
  
• Oswald changes his vote to Grimmjow without explaining anything except for answering the RQS. sanchocolates asks if this was a random vote or a serious one.

I don't see how this is contribution, he's just posting what happened.

Why would PI's replacing out confirm a scum read for you when your predecessor basically did the same thing?

Incognito, for some reason, out of all your scenarios, your common denominator is me. First of all, I am town. Second, if Grimmjow and I

scum together, why wouldn't we have voted already? We were both online after el simo's answer. My question was for clarity as I didn't know if Voided should remove his vote until we got a replacement. Your logic makes no sense and it seems your tunnelvision is focused on me this round. Your first two targets have turned out to be town. Either you are scum or you're a very bad judge of what is scum.

PI is my top scum pick, and you have been coddling/leading him all game, which makes you my second. The only thing that makes me lower you on my list is the fact that Voided says he protected you night 1 and there was no NK. The problem is, I don't know for sure that's why there was no NK, so I can't cross you off my list completely.

After reading how you led both lynches on town, not to mention steering the last lynch away from a PI lynch, I have to wonder why. You have been coddling/protecting PI all game. You have been leading him and he's been following. And now that he's getting votes, you still continue to ignore the obvious. Or do you?

If you aren't scum, that leaves Grimmjow, PI and Sancho. But, you have crossed Sancho off your list. Because you, who lynched Oswald and CJ, and was appalled that PI had them both on his town list, are such a great read? If you really believe the scum team is either PI and me or Grimmjow and me, then you should vote PI right now since, as I have already said, Grimmjow and I were both online at the same time yesterday and could have both voted. If you aren't voting PI, then, according to your own logic, you have to be protecting him.

Ok, so, phone post. Personally, I was not concerned about the vote counting, becuase I had resolved myself to not voting unless I had substantial proof. The reason I asked was to go ahead and have an answer for the question because, as a newbie, it's useful to know. And, I was asking to progress the game. That way when JJ logged back in, she might have her answer rather than having to wait even longer to get a response from the mod.

What else could have possibly happened to the NK? You're seriously suggesting that a me-scum didn't submit a kill because I somehow magically predicted that the set-up would both have a Doctor and that the Doctor would submit a protection on me of all people?

I'd also hate to mention this because it's an ongoing game that I :knowstuff: about, but I seriously can't see you believing what you're saying here given what you've said in the ongoing game I'm talking about, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I didn't know you and Grimmjow were on at the same time after the mod answered the question; the mod answered the question in his #639, so if you and Grimmjow were scum together, you both could have been waiting for AFTER the mod to answer the question to decide to quicklynch a hypo PI-town.

All that said, now that Grimmjow HAS checked in and still hasn't hammered after the question has been answered we basically have the following scenarios:

- Grimmjow and Miss JJ definitely aren't scum together
- If PI is town then the scum team has to be sanchocolates/Miss JJ
- If PI is scum then either Grimmjow is his buddy or Miss JJ is bussing her buddy since I still can in no way see sanchocolates as scum

Given the above, I think scenario 3 is the most fitting one of the bunch; I still really can't see sanchocolates as scum here, which crosses out numero dos.

I will gladly hammer, but I'd like Miss JJ to get those complete thoughts out about each player that she promised.

Oh, and the only reason why I've been "coddling" PI is because I've seen way more newbie town play the way PI has than newbie scum. I've been trying to cut him a lot of slack as a result, but I've clearly said a few times that I'm nervous about him because of at least one newbie scum who did fool me in the past who had a playstyle like his. So yeah.
