Good point, actually. Of the trio, only the RB shot could prove he was being truthful (if say, he blocked a NK; I doubt that mafia would forego the NK for a mislynch at this phase, as it gives town more info). The doc and copshot could be easily faked by scum.

I'm starting to think that Channel was killed because he seemed familiar with Nexus setups. The Stubbs claim (lack of flavor + much stronger than the other power roles + other JOAT claim) just doesn't fit. But (WIFOM APPROACHING), not sure how semi-bastardy the mod would be, to include a role that didnt fit for the express purpose of messing with town's heads. Blah.

@Amrun, who are you currently leading towards for scum?

Stubbs, clearly.

read my claim. I have already done so.

I mean, does it actually say "cop, doc, roleblock?"

yes

I don't buy it. All the abilities both in this game and in the previous one are based on the theme.

1) Fred and George's sibling abilities are called "Gred and Forge"
2) Snape's Jailkeeper ability is called "Detention"
3) Peeves's vanilla cop ability is called "Haunting"
4) Lockhart's useless ability is called "Vend"
5) Filch's abilities are called "Follower" "Reporter" and "Voyeur"

Yours doesn't fit in. There is no way I can see Colin's abilities actually being "cop" "doc" and roleblock"

The Filch abilities are actual abilities/roles listed in the mafiascum wiki.

That's not where my discomfort lies. It's more about the power differences in their abilities.

I know. I was referring to it fitting with the theme that Filch would follow people around the castle to catch them out of bounds or report their misdemeanors (although I can't see how he would be Voyeur).

I can confirm that my ability is not labeled as "doc".

...but we all know the high hanging fruit is sour grapes--Aesop taught us that!

No, seriously, who's the high hanging fruit you think I should be scum reading? Because, while this is a good group of players, I don't think any of us are notoriously hard lynches.

Elsewhere,

VOTE: Stubbs

This is L-1.

@ Penguin, I am interested in your read on Amrun. You say that Amrun as scum wouldn't post setup analysis. Have you played a game with Amrun as scum before?

F-16, I assume you mean this comment? I'm talking about the NK analysis, not set-up analysis. It wasn't a comment on Amrun's play in particular based on any meta but rather an observation that her engaging in discussing NK motives didn't read as something scum would do--scum don't want to explain why they Nk'd where they did or give town more theories.

I can RB a NK.
Neither of those prove anything, ftr, but you already used your cop shot -- are you telling me you're a joat that doesn't blow his load with an rb?

I have a bunch of reads but I am not sure now is the best time to share them. Our lynch for the day is pretty much set and Stubbs isn't doing anything to defend himself so I think it would be better to see a flip and get more info.

I have intent to hammer Stubbs soon. Any objections?

I'd still like for Syr to post before the day ends, but we're kind of in a holding pattern here waiting on that.
