I think I'll also go for Mr. Flay's claim. A pressure vote at -1 wasn't necessary at that point. Especially when all Peter had to do was reveal Maz's code name. That's just the short reason.

Something just occured to me. There's the issue with Peter's role. Was he really bastard modded? I don't really believe that is possible since Thesp would have made amends for it. Someone's role ability set Peter up. Probably another Mutant like Sefer. Machine Empathy? Afterall, Thesp is playing as the "computer" for the theme. I think there's another scum group.

Since you woke up today gunning for a player I think is innocent.
All you know (or think you know) is that he didn't carry out the kill. I don't see why you think he's innocent because of that.

I'll claim, but give me a few hours to rescue someone from car trouble.

The reason I laid the hammer down on Venkman is because he was blatantly REFUSING to name Maz's code name. He was never going to give a full reveal so I finished him off. I am innocent and I did not kill Stark as I have NO night ability

I have some sort of investigatory role, with respect to mutant powers. However EVERY time I or my predecessor have used it, it's come back "Not a mutant", which makes it seem very unlikely that it's working correctly. I have no idea if it's Bastard Moddery or player interference, but combining that with the no-reveal deaths has made me very skeptical, not to mention frustrated.

I'll only give the names of my investigation targets if it seems helpful, but for right now I see no interference from TCS' "power". If someone else has another explanation, I'm all ears.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that the reason I'm fairly sure this is a useless power is that a) the rules say everyone has a mutant power, and b) one of my targets came up as "enemy of the Computer" upon death.

You're just a naiive cop.

Or, you could be insane. Has anyone you have investigated been confirmed town. I would imagine so at this point.

Yeah. My predecessor investigated Sefer and Sarcastro, both of whom are now dead, and one of which came up scum. Neither came up as having a mutant power. That's why I'm sure my results are useless (barring player interference, of course), at least for the purposes of finding scum.

Having a redirector role makes it 99.44% likely that scum have to choose who sends in the kill, so why would they have killajay, who has been drawing increasing amounts of heat, make the kill when they think/know that your power exists?

Do the rules state that everyone has a mutant power? 'Cause Venkman and Killajay both denied it, and the former didn't come up enemy of the computer.

I am sure TCS is town. I think Flay likely is. I am planning to vote CO today.

Venkman stated that he only received part of his role. If he was a mutant, then he never received the pm he was supposed to receive stating what power he had. In otherwords, if Peter was a mutant, he wouldn't know.

Who the hell is CO?

Stark specifically said he had the mutant power of Extreme Luck; I checked him last night, on the off chance that he wouldn't die, and got "Not a mutant".

My guess is that Flay is searching for unregistered mutants.

If you received an Enemy of the Computer from Sefer, then it's because Sefer had machine empathy. In the theme, Machine Empathy is highly intolerable and the person would be killed once discovered.

I don't have an explanation if it was Sarcastro.

Nono, that's not what I said.

I received "Not a mutant" on all five investigations thus far. Including the one who later came up as "Enemy of the Computer", and stark (who had claimed a mutant power, and was presumably pro-town and had little to no reason to lie).

Daycycle 5 Tallying of Troubleshooters

Not Voting
- 5 (Mr. Flay, killajay, The Fonz, chaotic_diablo, The Central Scrutinizer)

With 5 clone templates still with us, a vote of 3 is sufficient to present for the "usual treatment of traitors".

Let's play the game.

I am MO-B-O-1, my clearance level is Blue; I am a member of the Illuminati (no partners listed, so I assume this is just flavor), and I have the mutant power of nightchoice redirection.

C_D is next.

I'm DIAMOND-R-AWK-1 with red clearance. I am a member of the Anti-Mutants. My mutant power is the power to morph into a bunny each night. I'm a vanilla townie.
