a) You keep saying that WotC is someone "sacrificing your fun so they can have fun". What makes your right to "have fun" any more important than theirs? If multiple people are WotCing you out, what makes your (singular) enjoyment so much more important than their (plural) enjoyment?
b) Not sure on this one but I'm like 90% sure you're an alt of a certain user. If I'm correct, you've had similar problems on both accounts. Why have you concluded that the problem is the site rather than the way you behave?
As an answer to your second point, some people's behavior is far worse than mine, yet they aren't being WoTCed. That's why the site in general is the problem.
Is "some people's behaviour is far worse" your opinion? Have you considered that you are biased in your own favour?

At least one other person thinks that the behavior of the [redacted] is unacceptable, and that person is not me, any of my alts, or biased in my favor.

But sure, flaking out of games is a most heinous thing in a decade, but calling someone else an 'idiot', a 'waste of space' or something along those lines is perfectly acceptable.

Don't worry, Voldemort is banned from all of my games.

And before you go 'some people deserve to be called names', remember that

1. Mafiascum unspoken rule says 'ATTACK THE PLAY, NOT THE PLAYER'
2. We are HUMANS. We are PEOPLE. Some WORDS and ACTIONS can HURT our FEELINGS.

@Annadog So that's how you wanna play it. Well, two people can play at that game

Reasonable people: WoTCing hurts someone's feelings, so you should try not to do it.
Mafiascum users: Of course I can do it! WOMP WOMP!

Consistency is the main deciding factor in this case.

Okay, sure, maybe the person you're talking about did say some unpleasant things. However, it is not consistent across games - in most games he is perfectly fun to play with, therefore he isn't consistently WotCed.

On the other hand, your reputation for flaking is, from what I can tell, rather large (didn't you even get officially punished for it?), with you even admitting to intentionally flaking out of games because you find VTs boring. That means that (a) more people have experienced or are aware of it (so there are more people to WotC you) and (b) its consistency means that people are less willing to "give you a chance" - i.e. they associate you as a player with flaking above other factors.

Also, there's the fact that some people enjoy playing with more aggressive and harsher players because it makes games quite intense. Sure, some don't, but it rarely makes a game seriously unenjoyable unless there is high levels of toxicity.
However, no-one likes to play with someone who flakes, as it slows the game down and countless other things which could be simply avoided by never allowing the player in the first place. So, a player goes to the mod, says "hey, look, this player has failed to play a lot of games they've signed up for, do you really want this?" and the mod agrees, or maybe the mod even does it of their own accord.

Also you still haven't addressed my point in that post about "why is your singular enjoyment more important than others' plural enjoyment" but I think at this point your selfishness speaks for itself.

If I can be close to useless in half my town games and never get WotC'd, it can't really be that hard to avoid it, right?

I'd love to play but I've basically had no enjoyment out of the last few games I've played - no motivation, no drive to scumhunt, barely even remembering what's gone on. Maybe it's the increased workload from college or maybe I've just stopped really caring about it.

Nothing wrong with the game though, not part of the hate mafia club, just haven't found myself enjoying it and think it's better to take a break than try and force myself into a game to enjoy it. I'll play a game if I see a game which super catches my interest but for now I'm happy to just be part of the community.

I'm actually getting there, myself. I'm running out the few games I'm still in and taking a break.

It would be a game for you to play which only people explicitly willing to play with you and give you a chance would join.

If you say yes, I will create this game and put it in signups when it is convenient for you. What size would you like?

This would be your chance to turn over a new leaf. To show the site what you can do. To show us you can abide by the standard site rules without having anyone's fun endangered. That you can meet activity requirements. That you can commit to the game start to finish. That you don't need to be WOTM/WOTC'd.

This is the best thing I can offer you, so please consider it!
