Just finished page 10 and am tired. My scumreads for now are in
Hectic: He's typically quite insightful is his posts, and has good if not reads in general. This game, by page 10 there's a little too much talk on mechanics, and a little too less scumhunting. I also think his play has been overly defensive - including yielding to self-authority without much to back it up. Also, I think... scum is more likely to play along with town jokes - (the countdown)

MariaR: Too sparkly. I haven't played a lot with her so I don't know the status quo. But again, similar to Hectic, no hunting, not anything much at all, other than chiding pops for playstyle

Dunnstral: Can't pinpoint it. On my notes I just wrote scummy. I think I've played a couple games with Dunn in the past so it will be a quick review once I get to it.

Ok I'm done with the thread. I don't want pops dead or anywhere close to being hanged. This is my strongest read I think. ffs the guy wrote a program on how to get the optimal setting. his drunk post is extremely town, as well as he's playing similar to his style in magic girls.

My scum read on Hectic stands. I was super underwhelmed with his "solve" on page 24. This is scum. Like 80/90 percent of the time? Miracle he got out of day 1.

My biggest pairing of Hectic is actually Nymph. My key issue with Nymph is that she pushed two town, and half-assedly hectic. There's also Q by Q nsg tell that she engaged in.

Dunn still looks scummy to me. But I don't think he's paired with Hectic or Nymph. I'll try harder on MariaR, but I'm null on the slot again.

I'm still gonna mildly town-read locke for now, and by proxy Not_Mafia. I didn't read his catchup closely tbh. But a guy that keeps on doing these catch-ups when they generate so little discussion is scum hunting and feels town.

I like your reads. I think N_M isn't scum tbh. Your slot is town. Pops is definitely town.

I like lynching Locke's slot because we aren't getting more information about its alignment for the rest of the game apparently. Dunnstral and MariaR are going to keep playing. Hectic seems scummy enough that he can just die now whether or not he's going to play later

Could you talk about your Nymph scumread more DDL? I don't effect-in-search-of-a-cause style post mortems over watching how things developed in real time and dongempire was genuinely scummy in a way where you'd really prefer to shake that feeling by seeing further play from that player. I townread Nymph for reaching that kind of stance on the slot in resonance.

Elements is maybe more arguably a lurker mislynch worth some finger pointing, maybe. "I refuse to allow alignment spew day 1" was super weird. But he happened to be next to chemist the way the list ordering played, that's kinda part of this game.

I only surface level read him as town/town-lite because of the sheer amount of bad posts between dong/hectic/elements. I'll give you a better idea what I feel about him after I look at his ISO.

Nymph repeatedly mentions these three players in reads, and this might be surface, but it reads like a 2-town-1-scum type of read IF Nymph is scum

So, it is something you're saying scum would be likely to do. But I'm not getting how it's something town is unlikely to do. To me that seems pretty weak.
Nymph slot has been doing lots of real sorting and doesn't seem to have much survival instinct. You just caught up on the game and didn't draw the same conclusion, somehow.

Re: Dunn: Dunn is kind of always like this. It's possible to read the gentle effort he puts towards his games. MariaR has a pretty good record reading him.


It seems like discussion is shifting toward lynching Hectic and N_M. As I wrote in my drunkpost I think it'd be ideal to follow two breadcrumb trails at once, so I think it'd be better to lynch one of them. The associative Azuresky highlighted was so rancid that I think a red flip on one implicates the other and wins us the game, there's no bonus points for winning faster. But there's a loss of points if we don't lynch someone like Dunn, MariaR, or even DDL (not in a hurry on that) and miss the chance to start figuring out partners for them tomorrow.
Hectic is actively scummier, but N_M is like, scummy slot + policy lynch motivations. I don't care too much which one, I tend to lean towards lynching people who aren't going to spew their own alignment at all for the rest of the game but Hectic's flip is more informative. +1 for hearing from MariaR why she thinks N_M's lynch can be informative though. I'll take any excuse to do delicious 2009 policy lynching.

For the second lynch Dunnstral is still my leading contender. His last post scumpinged me. I feel like MariaR is demonstrating a town indicative thirst for knowledge. When Dunnstral is only ever offering takes on NAI topics like whether it's ok to replace into a theme micro and play mountainous mafia or not and is being silent Dunnstral the rest of the time, that's not when I feel good about him.

I'm not that confident this game! I don't think Dunn is playing the game much and that helps my read a lot. I wouldn't mind if he died. His stances are pretty weak.
