On a less personal note, if I'm wrong you have 11 other people... er, guess more like 8-9? depending on if you think I'm scum? People to convince of your innocence. And also possibly me. And scum to find. People will be wrong on you at times. That's part of this. If I'm wrong on you, I don't deserve this kind of derision you've provided me.

Town fery is super duper easy to read given enough time (like 3~4 rl days) so I’m not really worried about her atm.
She is playing slightly more exotic this game but it prob has to do with notsci being a partner.

I’m still not giving a read on the slot until Day 3.

Urg, first attempt failed, though not for great reasons.

Cabd's early interactions range from neutral to light positive, and their DGB/Kate Bishop interactions read like a townie approaching it. So I have good town vibes.

However, the fact he knows me and gets why I (and Niamh) might be sad/upset that our Role PM turned out so miserable, the symapthy there also rang town... which is an issue. I'm going to have a hard time ever feeling comfortable town reading him strongly with that on the resume as one of the main things.

So I need to drop it and space backwards towards other things. I'll see how Cabd takes my reads in the morning, maybe I'll find more town nuggets from him.

But for the moment, Cabd is not strong town the way I am looking for (but he does look town).

This is the least "lazy" and most accurate take on my play so far, yeah.

WRT bolder, yeah, in the last game the people MOST pushing ITT sympathy were scum taking advantage of you, namely CephTD and Notsci. It's not a good reason to town read me, there are plenty of other better ones that will become apparent over time!

Manatee’s role. Doesn’t really bother me because we can use her role to our advantage and just lim her if she’s found lying.

I may or may not have been raw/tilted when reacting to manatee's post due to the bastard game that shall not be named.

I gave some thought on this and decided that I shouldn't have even claimed I had a confirmable role. I'm going to not claim anything extra in regards to my role, and that some players just want blood early and will twist any statement to fill a narrative in their head. The only thing that might save me is my full claim, but I'm not giving it because if people can't realize they snap judged a comment or really think I'm so big a threat they want me out Day 1, then I'm not going to hinge survival on the role claim. In my opinion I've done nothing scummy, but obviously people see things differently. I'd rather just be eliminated in silence and hope town can win without my role.

I've developed town reads on DGB, ssbm, GiF, and unwnd.

No strong scum reads, though I still am not a fan of the people passing their votes to LLD as their sword (specifically Wheme and cabd).

For 640, I agree with the sentiment at the end on Wheme passing his vote as a sword, but didnt get the same feeling from Cabd. Felt like Cabd's action was consistent with where his head be, whereas with Wheme I dont have the context to know if that aligns for him.

Speaking of Cabd, in 633 you reference your reaction to ManateeGal as being a reaction test, right? Were you expecting anyone in particular to react a certain way, or was it geared towards getting a reaction from anyone in particular?

yes and no!

Everything I do, I try to extract max value out of. I did try to shape my objections similar to what had hit the thread re: LLD's role but they were also genuinely my thoughts at the time, in that I struggle to see how this setup will be set up around what is effectively double day. Generally speaking, I try to ascribe to mods that they won't make a single player or role have so much agency that it denies others theirs completely, but that would be the case here if Manatee and LLD are both town.
