I got main character privilege for some reason. Zaph said he liked Lucas a lot. Heck, I even got in the final cutscene.
This proves once and for all I'm a true maim character.

In retrospect, the RP lynch shouldve been obvious with the modified neighborizer
Anyway, gg

It was obvious. What with claiming scum and all.

Good game though. Arguing with you was actually convincing me you were town.

Thats a good compliment in a game of mafia, I was -and still am- convinced the BG on BP thing was unbelievable lmao

Also, game is bastard because, as I suspected, flavor impacts the game. I was worried there might be more to it then that though. Although I now have no idea why Primate directly asked me if I was Simotech or Rebels.
p-edit
It was very easy to see it that way, yeah. Alisae had three people she could have protected, Dunn and Sakura for being strong town-reads and Bambi for being an investigative. (Though I suspect Alisae might not have fully town-read Bambi) BG on BP isn't the best choice, but there was already a strongman flip so the crit-fail result of that choice wasn't likely. I wasn't removing Alisae from the PoE or anything, I was just focusing on the most suspect player in the PoE first.
In other thoughts, I really regret my switch onto Wheme day 1. That was a particularly bad move on my part.

I specifically mentioned it "could have bastard elements." Simotech could become Aeon and the other way arounr, and while that doesn't change their wincon, it still changes their alignment. A mafia member could also become a survivor, which definitely is bastard.
I'm usually not a fan of bastard and, unless I go crazy, I'd never design a pure, pure bastard game - I think that, if your setup relies on confusing your players with all kinds of weird mechanics, it's probably just bad game design. My opinion, of course.

Kind of a weak way for it to end. Town basically all just... played reasonably from D2 onwards, were relatively open, and scum didn't keep up with that current. GGs.

2 scum were lurkers and Pengu got shot by Simotech, fucking over Aeon. Scum had... A rough time.

Shoutout to CK, replacing out just before we won after suggesting that Panda hadn't tried to lurk out of the spotlight while we all waffled on at the end... when Panda got prodded for inactivity at the same time I did.
Like. Wow.

I definitely expected game to be a lot more bastard, to the point that I tried to trap Gamma and pretty openly told him I FoS'd him early on. In the end it was just a neighbourhood v0v

GG, and
VERY GOOD MODDING
Now it's time my personal rants: Why-Oh-Why does it seem like whenever a good mod is found they decide to quit?

I'm about to read the dead thread and see if I triggered people surviving again.

The same reason good DMs for your D&D group are hard to find. It's exhausting.

I know it is, but I'm not asking anyone to run like 6 games a year! Just 1 or 2 from -say- 5-6 good mods each and we'd have a full year of entertaining Mafia.

Oh, the dead chat wasn't that interesting. I'm sad now.

I liked the design of the seals, but everything blew theirs early for various reasons which is slightly disappointing
Seeing the "may or may not" thing in the Neighborizor role PMs was weird, yeah. But it didn't come into play cuz all of them used it poorly?

I didn't say much because I was barely invested in the game

I made the mistake of not explicitly stating starting the PT was a night action, so the thing that influenced it (the business is business event) didn't come into play.
I'm a sucker for roles that don't have an obvious use or don't have an obviously optimal way of using them, but that can be used creatively. The neighborizers, your role, the Aeon factional abilities and even a masonry all fit this philosophy of mine, and if someone actually uses them creatively, it makes me a very happy mod. Your play was one of those things!

Thanks
There's plenty of high quality game mods around at the moment right now, though! I am probably forgetting some, but people like Varsoon, Firebringer, FakeGod, Boonskiies, schadd, skygazer and probably a couple more are very very good mods that I look up to and that all regularly mod games! I definitely don't think finding good mods is an issue right now

Heh, me and Dunn become the presidents in the epilogue flavor. I guess we made Thalia proud then. (Even though we totally blew our cover at the end.) I do have a question though, is it one of the player's characters that kills Thalia at the end?

I checked the names, and no, it wasn't related. It was probably a pre-story death.

How I planned everything out (at one point I intended to write books, but that didn't go well), the killer is Jason Garish.
Last game, one of the people from Simotech was married to "deceased" Jason Garish, but in the closing flavour it was revealed that he was in fact still alive, and part of IUSTITIA. He is a man who faked his own death, so he has been in the shadows for a long while. He was ranked higher than Thalia within the organisation, but since IUSTITIA has become a public organisation after the war, he has had to concede that position to Thalia - only he and Thalia were left of the original leadership, and the twins were recruited during the war as per the flavour of one of the masons' role PM.
We haven't seen him throughout the game, but in the end he seems to disagree with the way Thalia has handled everything, and did what you saw him do.
But make of it what you want, ultimately what you make of it is what matters!
