I still see this as "less likely to be protected than April, yet still potentially dangerous". Not shooting within the PRs maaaybe suggests a PR is lying scum, though, given that 420 would have been more likely to protect someone claiming confirmable/investigative if he's a white mage. Not doing that kinda fits his "not paying a lot of attention" vibe, though. Which is why I asked you about his posts around the point where he entered the D3 convo.

I'm talking about last night's kill target. not the n1 protection.

I'm trying to put myself into your head here but I'm having a hard time because I trust the White Mage claim way more than you do and it's really hard to get out of that headspace.

I think this is another instance of "self esteem is for everyone except morph" because we didn't feel nearly worthy of a protection n1 after how d1 went.

I dunno, Bork. Maybe my internal concept of this game is blinding me, but this is where I'm at:

1. I don't think our play on day 1 after getting repeatedly kneecapped deserved protection, and I don't believe scum would have expected us to be protected instead of April.
2. I had a mild townread on Prism/420 pretty much the entirety of day 1 and that, plus the specificity of the claim (rather than something more generically protected) led me to believe the claim is real (or a mod-supplied fake claim). With the exception of that crazy moment when Cabd thought he'd botched his claim, I have believed he's town. My only concern is if I'm confusing "townreading" with "wanting him to be town". I don't think I am.
3. I think we made a huge tactical error not forcing a flavor claim out of maid on day 1 and I still think they're scum.

Yeah, and the reason I believe that is because of how not-caught-up his posts today felt.

And yeah, that's still my solve. :/ I'm a little worried that so much info and speculation today hasn't shaken things up inside my head very much.

It looks somewhat bad for maid because I don't think we have 3 scum power roles. Maybe they just aren't detonating as town because they can't speak. That seems reasonable.

If they are town, they should be able to speak. Their detonate is a day action, so perhaps this roleblocker power also extends to the day and silences. Ok, that seems unlikely...

This is sort of weird though because why would they decide to day commute as scum as opposed to just playing things out
