Someone tell me why Hiraki is so town-like. Has nobody read his posts?? And yeah, I may be semi-tunneling, but that's because he's so horribly scummy.

I don't think there's been anyone though that's talked about Hiraki like he's obvtown, while there have been a few people that for some reason are acting that way about DBE.

Im fairly confident he is, enough so that im going to argue him being town despite him not being one of my top town reads. Not really able to give strong reasons though. I just disagree with the strength of the case on him, and who is on the wagon is a massive red flag with me, especially as you see how fast this last little tail showed up. The wagon makes me think town, my other reads say he is town, im going to say he is town.

jason

- his metatalk was nonsense, is nonsense, and will continue to be nonsense. At first I chalked it up to newbish enthusiasm trying to carve out a niche ("oh hey, he's the guy who can help us with meta stuff!") but (particularly in ISO) he leans on meta way too much. I think he doesn't want to abandon it because it's a safe way to make attacks without getting his hands dirty.

darla

- not buying the "oh I thought I was at L-1" justification for the nameclaim. She was never close, and I think she thinks her role name will save her. That combined with the mea culpa in 245 make me think she's playing dumb.

wraith

- 272 looks a lot like deflection from hiraki. He says he's suspicious of hiraki, but votes the second wagon instead. Then he does nothing until pressed, at which point he returns only to show his support for the two leading wagons. The only other time he has perked up is when discussion started to turn towards role names.

rib

- he hasn't really done anything particularly helpful. And he metas more than is useful from a town POV.

- 22 earned him an early wagon, but he hasn't panicked or gone MIA as some do. He's been relatively active and most of his posts since then are good.

- Looking back I don't have much from him noted (save 164), but during the read his posts seemed to push everyone back towards scumhunting and away from various other idiocy that springs up.

nero

- 268 was right on the money. He's not particularly active, but his posts have been good.

mist

- I'm a sucker for WIFOM. But I don't believe someone would enter the way he did just before deadline, admit to being a follower, flip-flop several times, and generally make himself lynchbait if he were actually scum. Easy enough to lurk in this game (see: wraith) without worry of lynch.

Some general thoughts:
1) I'm in the camp that says the role names won't mean much. In fact I'm almost sure of it. I'd imagine the mod already has a story at the end of the game explaining why some "good" and "bad" characters ended up where they are.
2)

Hiraki

is fine for a lynch. His latest posts, in particular, look like desperation. If that's the compromise lynch today, I'll jump on board.

I didn't say that mafia was hard and takes time. I said I'm not going outside the game to read an entire other game just to get a meta on someone. Big difference. But mafia is hard and does take time if you read through the thread and actually, ya know, play, unlike what some people do.

I'm not really seeing how saying "I don't like when people try justifying a lynch by saying the flip will give information, but I don't think both of the people doing it are scum" has anything to do with meta.

Erm... where have you been? The top wagons are, in order: Hiraki, me, and DBE. jason's been seen as scummy by multiple people, but doesn't seem to be anyone's top suspect and is thus an unlikely wagon approaching deadline. diddin has only been mentioned a couple of times and is an almost impossible wagon at this point.

I still like DBE as scum despite this supposed obv-townness her AtE has gotten her. As stated before, I would be willing to get on Hiraki as a compromise lynch, but only if the DBE wagon is surely going nowhere closer to deadline.

Okay Thanx for saying I'm town but I'm not going to expect everyone to follow you. I just want to say that I don't mind being lynched because yes I admit to being scummy. That is how I play as I said in my last post. If you guys want to kill me go ahead. I doubt you would miss me. (yes more WIFOM) I'll try to be better and stop sheeping. Then we will ask for CC's (counter claims) -we should only CC if he isn't doctor because doctor will be killed by mafia- Right no we have to start thinking, "Do we really want to lynch Hiraki or someone who has been more scummy??" You may answer these questions later. Right now we should start talking about
