PI is my top scum pick, and you have been coddling/leading him all game, which makes you my second. The only thing that makes me lower you on my list is the fact that Voided says he protected you night 1 and there was no NK. The problem is, I don't know for sure that's why there was no NK, so I can't cross you off my list completely.

What else could have possibly happened to the NK? You're seriously suggesting that a me-scum didn't submit a kill because I somehow magically predicted that the set-up would both have a Doctor and that the Doctor would submit a protection on me of all people?

I'd also hate to mention this because it's an ongoing game that I :knowstuff: about, but I seriously can't see you believing what you're saying here given what you've said in the ongoing game I'm talking about, if you know what I mean.

Believe me, I have thought about exactly what you said. It's the only reason I didn't have you as my top suspect after reading through this game. That being said, I can't be 100% sure so I cannot cross you off because of that.

As for the ongoing game you speak about, I can't talk about it but it's a completely different situation and I think you know that, too.

Anyway, I didn't know you and Grimmjow were on at the same time after the mod answered the question; the mod answered the question in his #639, so if you and Grimmjow were scum together, you both could have been waiting for AFTER the mod to answer the question to decide to quicklynch a hypo PI-town.

We were both on after the mod posted, and after Voided posted. In fact, I was on for a while because I was posting my thoughts on everyone but then it got late and I decided to finish it today.

All that said, now that Grimmjow HAS checked in and still hasn't hammered after the question has been answered we basically have the following scenarios:

- Grimmjow and Miss JJ definitely aren't scum together
- If PI is town then the scum team has to be sanchocolates/Miss JJ
- If PI is scum then either Grimmjow is his buddy or Miss JJ is bussing her buddy since I still can in no way see sanchocolates as scum

Given the above, I think scenario 3 is the most fitting one of the bunch; I still really can't see sanchocolates as scum here, which crosses out numero dos.

I will gladly hammer, but I'd like Miss JJ to get those complete thoughts out about each player that she promised.

Given the votes and the fact that you or Grimmjow have not yet hammered, the only thing that makes sense is that the scumteam is PI/Grimmjow; PI/Sanchocolates; PI/Incognito. In any case, PI is the only common denominator, so my vote is in the right place.

I will put up my thoughts and you guys can do whatever you feel you need to, but my vote isn't changing.

Out of the four I have them in this order from most scummy to most town:

Incognito (because of the strong likelihood that he was saved from a NK Night 1)

How can you cross Sancho off your list so easily? For the exact reason Incognito said he suspected dk - the fact that he hadn't seemed to be stepping on anyone's toes - Sancho could be scum. I just think it's dangerous to count anyone out that isn't proven to be town. You're the

only

one that applies to at this point.

The thought that Incog was scum and chose a no kill N1 did cross my mind, but after re-evaluating it, I dismissed it because that would be suicidal for scum mainly because Incog would be putting a HUGE risk on there being a doc and assuming the doc would protect him. However, I can see how a doc WOULD protect him, as he is the IC, especially if the doc thought he was town. However, with this set up, there's no guarantee that there would be a doc, so those would be much too high of stakes.

That being said, PI replacing out really does make me think he's scum. He keeps talking about the "pressure." If he were a VT, there wouldn't really be any pressure except to try and scumhunt. And if the other players think a VT is scum because of his playstyle, then that's something that can be discussed post-game. So I don't really see the pressure, especially since I'm not feeling it at all.

Grimmjow, this is my third Mafia game on this site. The other two are also ongoing.

My first Mafia games ranged from about 2-3 years ago on a site which has been dead/deleted for about a year. I played 2 or 3 games and, to the best of my recollection, I think it was 1/1 as far as wins/losses.

After that I began playing Werewolf games and one Witch game on another site in the past year or so. I am in an ongoing Werewolf game on that site right now. Out of 7 games my W/L/D record is 5/2/0. I have also hosted two Mafia games on that same site.

I noticed that, Grimmjow. I guess it was lucky that you were the only one who thought Sanchocolates could possibly be anything but town.

I think this was a good learning game overall - for me, I don't really care about the loss or anything like that; I just hope the newer players learned a bit from this game. The game overall was really frustrating at times though - we had to practically BEG certain people to participate, which made it really difficult to find scum here.

I think sanchocolates played an amazing first game as scum; it's not often that someone, especially a newbie, can completely fool me like that so well done. You definitely deserved this win, though I wonder if we had lynched dk_peace/Miss JJ like I had been pushing for if I would have eventually put the pieces together since sanchocolates kept ignoring a lot of the stuff I kept saying about dk_peace for the most part. I think he would have still had me beat though.

I understand this was your first game and you were probably nervous as a result but Mafia is a game of pressure and psychology. If you can't deal with pressure then this probably isn't the right game for you. I'm saying this because of the stuff you mentioned in the Newbie Queue when you replaced out. So yeah.

Also about this:

Voided, trust me, they could figure out a lot. I'll go into this during post-game if you'd like but right now, I'd really be happy if we stopped talking about the lack of death altogether.

I figured I'd go into this a bit now. Since the scum knew who they targeted during Night 1, they'd know who was

not

a Doctor. So if the scum were attentive they could have easily narrowed down who the Doctor was here quite quickly - they already knew Elfen claimed Vanilla, they knew it couldn't be me, PI didn't seem Doctor-ish, so that really left a small number of people.

Also, Voided's comment about the set-up let me know that he definitely wasn't a Jailkeeper. Then some of his defense of me during Day 2 made me think he could be the Doctor. I had Grimmjow pegged as most likely to be a Jailkeeper though if that role was in the game set-up.

Eh, it didn't really matter at that point who they killed. They could've roleblocked you and killed someone else; I wasn't really sure why the mod didn't end the game immediately after the PI lynch.
