FFS what is going on? I will state that I will look very seriously at anyone who is trying to derail the Stein lynch. (is not a happy camper here.)
Spinning Paper is definite moving up higher on my scumdar.
Pynchon give me one good reason why you are moving off of the wagon and following Spinning Paper?
@ Hogan cute reference to NS You are aware he is playing this game as one of the authors, Right?
So let us lynch Ms Stein and then we can unravel the whole Wilde issue...

No clue nor do I know which author NS is. He was one of the original to sign up. I do know that Ms Austen was Empking, and that Joyce was DGB.

I see that the giant hulking man has talked about his views on some players but not all of them. I have to ask him right then and there what he thinks of me. "Mr. Holgan, was it? Do you think I am good or bad?" she asks the large man as she rubs his thigh.

OOC: spoiler tags for anti-wall reasons
Spoiler: I. Mr. Shaft
(formerly known as a Mr. Marlowe)
Marlowe was a great man, for his time,
Though his thoughts on Austen were poorly rhymed
And a possible defense she failed to take;
Let us think, through certain half-unthought-of routes,
The steps of could-be louts-
But then we must move on to Mr. Shaft
Who looked upon the proceedings and laughed:
His routes follow like a Townish argument
Of only good intent
To lead us to the overwhelming questions...
(A slight chance says he's yellow,
But I do quite like this fellow.)
In the game the players come and go
Calling him Town as players go.
Spoiler: II. Mr. Pynchon
Among the smoke and fog of a Large Theme Mafia game,
We see players arrange themselves - as they all seem to do -
With 'This one's Town, and that one should be too';
There are those who see these things the same,
And Thomas Pynchon has at times been one of these,
As this is so, then why in heaven's name
This sudden switch in votes to Lemony?
-And so the conversation slips
Among velleities and our own curiosity,
But has he?
He is more Town than some.
Spoiler: III. Mr. Poe
The game begins to settle down
With smell of Scum on lynching days.
Poe is Town.
In his writing 'tis no malaise.
And now his suspect feelings show
A certain flow
Of consciousness that can't be false
And I agree with all besides;
His only faults
Are sometimes too much time he bides,
And round questions his sometime waltz
Could one day come to bring him down.
Despite all that, I still say Town.
Spoiler: IV. Mr. Confucius
(formerly known as a Mr. Moliere)
My greatest read:
Among the players' open minds
Held together through common reads,
Whispering nagging doubts
Dissolve thoughts of civility
And all its clear advantages,
Its precisions and decisions.
Every player that I've passed
Supersedes the bar set for Scum,
And through the post-restriction haze
Confucius shakes with questioning
As a Town man shaking every living one.
Spoiler: V. Mr. Snicket
They are rattling the bars on his windows,
And along the trampled edges of his arguments
I am aware of some certain otherness
Sprouting despondently throughout the game.
The waves of opinion toss up to me
Twisted quotes of his from the bottom of days,
And tear from me, a player through and through,
An aimless Null opinion that hovers in the air
And vanishes in the sea of other players.
Spoiler: VI. Mr. Kaufmann
Mr. Charlie Kaufmann is an incredible nuisance,
And lives simply to create nonsensical plays.
Nevertheless I always find myself laughing
And agreeing sometimes, to the point where I must think
Mr. Charlie Kaufmann is somewhat Town.
Spoiler: VII. Mr. Wilde
Mr. Oscar Wilde
Tried to pull his punches and broke himself,
Cried out pulling punches and broke himself-
His rather scummy self-
Pulling unjustified punches on those
Who would punch back.
Mr. Oscar Wilde spoke
And acted the Townish lad-
And the others were not quite sure how they felt about it,
But they knew that it was Town.
Until the newest day dawned and he stuck his foot into his mouth.
Spoiler: VIII. Dr. Seuss
When Dr. Seuss began his gladiatorial battle,
His laughter tinkled among the teacups.
I thought of others who had gambitted before him.
In this palace of MafiaScum, at Mr. Lovecraft's writing treatises
He laughed like an irresponsible foetus.
His laughter was profound
And made me wonder
Whether he was Town after all.
I hold an outside chance of his being purple, but I do not think it likely.
Spoiler: IX. Ms. Stein
As she posted I was aware of becoming suspicious of her, until that suspicion was all I could see of her. I was drawn in by her inanity, inhaled at each momentary pretension of Townishness, lost finally in the lack of anything Town about her, bruised by the lack of a lynch on her yesterday. The other players with firm hands tend to agree with me, saying: 'If she's Town, I'll eat my hat, if she's Town I'll eat my hat...' I decided that if her utter scumminess could be stopped, some fragments of the game might be collected, and I concentrated my attention without subtlety to her end.
Spoiler: X. The Spinning Paper
(formerly known as a Mr. Wiseau)
The writers of The Spinning Paper
Sway in the wind like a field of ripe corn.
And I say, 'Other players, here is an example of a likely Scum.'
Spoiler: XI. Ms. James
(formerly known as a Mr. Mamet)
Mamet was not the most Town of the bunch-
Ms. James is terrifying to behold-
But believe, believe that there is no real evidence on her-
Look into her ISO with a pained surprise-
Fling her to the ground and turn
With resentment in your eyes
But believe, believe that there is no real evidence on her.
Spoiler: XII. Mr. Hogan
(formerly known as a Mr. Phelps, who was formerly known as a Mr. Jacques)
Here he is, a new man in a large game,
Being more useful than before.
He was neither on the bad side
Nor on the good side
Nor fluffing nor lurking,
Bitten by a character
Now forgot.
He is slight Town,
A dull read in a helpful place.
OOC: I'm tired, so these last four are not in character. I may redo them at another time.
Spoiler: XIII. God
He says quite a bit.
However, I am unsure about him.
Spoiler: XIV. Mr. Danielewski
He is Town. So Town.
Spoiler: XV. Ms. Bradley
A little scummy based on early days, but she seems kinda Town at the moment.
Spoiler: XVI. Mr. Rucks
Where did he go?
He looked Town when he was here though.

I can hardly believe players continue to ignore Spinning Paper. It is most disgraceful given his posts.
1.)
OscarWilde: what are your "pet theories" for what happened on Night One? Do you have any similar "pet theories" for Night Three?
2.)
OscarWilde, why did you not crumb any results on Day One or Day Three?
3.)
OscarWilde, why do your first posts of each game Day start with a reference to the dead players?
4.)
EL James, I have asked you at least three times: explain your Day Two Rucks vote.
5.)
Gertrude Stein: why were you suspicious of Shakespeare? And why did you "agree, mostly" with Fred Phelps' (now Hulk Hogans') suspicions of Dr. Seuss while also listing Fred Phelps as a player you wanted to lynch?
6.)
Marion Zimmer Bradley, why are you so persistently concerned with getting a Gertrude Stein lynch? I doubt we will have any troubles with deadlines today, so why do you continue urge a lynch and suggest that players are connected to her if they are not voting for Gertrude Stein?
It's starting to smell like you are anxious, and anxious players have a strong tendency to be scum pushing a plan.
Deadline is about two weeks away, so we can afford some conversation given the lack of conversation on Day Three.
7.)
Marion Zimmer Bradley, please explain your suspicion of Spinning Paper.

Mestro Confucius it is simple. It looks like scum trying to start an alternative wagon to protect Mestra Stein from being lynched, hence him moving up in in scumdar. And I would like to know why he and Mestro Pynchon suddenly veered on another wagon with no real data to back it up.
ooc
I am fully aware that I am tunneling hard core, which is not my usual style. However I am fairly sure we have hit scum. And her response was NOT conducive to her being innocent. Especially since there has been very little evidence brought forth by those on the counter wagon that SP started.

He who would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools.
~
Marion Zimmer Bradley, your logic is not very reasonable.
It became highly evident at the start of the game Day that Gertrude Stein will either be lynched today or she will be killed in the near future barring a substantial reason for keeping her alive. Unless Gertrude Stein is scum with a role that is particularly worth saving for a single Night, I do not think any potential partners would
truly
defend her with any real zeal.
At best
one can argue that potential partners might try to go for a different lynch-target before that target becomes "unlynchable" later in the game (through an investigation, for example). But I think it is more likely that if somebody is actually trying to push an alternate lynch, it is probably because they have their own ideas on who is scum moreso than because they are trying to circumvent a Gertrude Stein lynch. Even
if
Gertrude Stein is scum, there are presumably other scum in the game which will need to be caught at some point. The legwork will have to put in at some point, and doing it while one is still alive is better than holding onto a suspicion and then dying with it.
As a result, I actually have been crediting slight Townpoints to players who are bothering to push in other directions.
Finally, whether you "normally" tunnel this much is of no concern in this game. And even then, "tunneling" is not a sufficient explanation for your accusations that players are partnered with Gertrude Stein because they are not voting for Gertrude Stein: that is an appeal to fear.

Since she is scum, the only way she will die is if we lynch her I highly doubt her buddies will kill her.
I am all for discussion, I just hope we make the right decision. We have had more than one PR claim and only one can be protected by the doc that is out there somewhere, for I do believe whether he is scum or town that Wilde is correct on that especially since there was a roleblocker AND a strongman. (Not to mention a JOAT as well.) Obviously that makes a doc very likely. If the town does not want to lynch Stein, obviously when it gets close to deadline, I will support the lynch over a NL.

I approach the new information silently. I'm not sure how to absorb all of this. I tackle one thing that disturbs me greatly.
Confucius wrote:4.) EL James, please explain your Rucks vote from the other day. I asked you about this around two weeks ago now.
I look oddly at Confucius. I know him. His writings dictate that one should be gentlemanly--this seems almost out of character to be a bit mad at a lady like myself. I hmph and decide to not help him until he apologize. At least, that's what Bella would do. I, on the other hand (a less aggressive female), decide to show him the work that I have already done that supported my vote in the past. I'm still not sure why we haven't gotten rid of the person controlling the outer voice. I knew I wanted one for more devious desires.
EL James wrote:
Rucks wrote:Kid didn't have a whole lot to go on. Decided to just vote the person he'd have the most trouble understanding. Not really fair, but better than nothin.
As I read this, I felt something struck the wrong way. It felt like the first time Christian touched me. While I was fine with it and it was pleasurable, it was uncomfortable doing his dirtiest desires. But alas, it reminded me of the first time, so it's a minor disturbance to me.
Most of the rabble after this session seems to be random and erratic. I'm not too good at this stuff but again, I'll give it my best shot.
I started reading the Daily Bugle on the newspaper. It's nothing like the Seattle Times, but it'll do. I mainly read the Wanted Jobs since I know that Christian isn't around here. I need the money as well. I'm not sure if there's rent at the place I'm staying at but I'm pretty poor. In any case, I noted the part where people were citing suspicion of David Mamet. I'm waiting for an answer in the next issue for sure.
I then heard an odd voice in the air. The kid that didn't talk apparently had some godlike figure helping out. Why couldn't the "God" that's here just giving him a voice? I wonder and digress at the same time. According to these logs I have, the narrator stated:
? wrote:
Mamet's maybe got a vote or two more than the others, but it was nothing big.
However I have to wonder--how was it not that big? Miss Austen, Mr. Kaufman, Mr. Snicket, and Mr. Pynchon have all personally decided to cast suspicion onto Mr. Mamet. So while it could just be sarcastic suspicion for the intent of drawing a certain aspect of his being, rather than his roleplay, out there seems to be something larger. Especially when that's 4 names out of 24. A good sixth of the game on the second page of these logs. The timing and the number seem a tad bit off, no?
The worst part about this occasion is that the Bugle apparently gains "scumcredit" for these actions. Well, if he does die in the future, I want dibs on his body--I could get some cash there in this rough economy. I'd also like to note that while Mr. Mamet's attempt at making a love story is formittable--it is nothing in comparison with Meyer's masterpiece
Twilight
.
I then look at Mr. Hogan and frown. "I am aware that my presence in this fiasco has been lackluster for the last few days but I have said much about players before. I am unsure why you can't get an opinion from that but I understand in someway."
I sigh. "If no one is going my more pleasurable way, then I shall follow. Hopefully you all won't regret this."
I then examine the choices and make a slanted face. Something seemed awkward here with Mr. Kaufman's words, I wasn't going to give much fret about it though. I wanted Ms. Stein dead so I could be the predominant lady. Only one girl in a house full of men? Delicious.
Unvote, Vote: Ms. Stein

Mestra James, though I do support the wagon on Mestra Stein, your reasoning seems a bit odd? Does that mean had the wagon been on me, you would have supported it to get rid of yet another female? Or that you plan on trying to get me lynched tomorrow to make sure you are as in your words, "only one girl in a house full of men"?
Seems a pretty flimsy reason to vote for someone..
Do you have any other reasons for wanting Mestra Stein to eat rope?

8- Sorry I've been away, voting Poe
9- Why are we lynching Stein?
10- What do you think of me?
11- Why do you think I'm a lurker? Hammering Stein.
Your entire ISO consists of promises to catch up, spotty votes, and finally hammering Gertrude Stein. That's not "lackluster for a few days," and it's not "saying much about players before," that's flying under the radar.
