Instead it's characterized as interesting and noted as lynch-dodging behavior.
Good point.
Okay I like ghosts 614 a lot. Basically the same response to FBN that I had.
FBN, what is the "history" of the supersaint claim that you refer to? Some of us haven't been here very long and don't know shit like that, and from a theoretical perspective I can see huge scum motivation in a supersaint fakeclaim and no VT motivation for the fakeclaim.
First off, it's not full of shot. I've been reading these games since early 2009, so unless you've been here longer than that, I'd retract that statement. The whole thing with the supersaint claim is simply the fact that no one ever believes it, making it down right suicidal to do. IF someone claims it, it's usually because they believe scum is going to hammer them.

Ghostlin, did you believe arc angels claim before you hammered her?

Not really, it seemed much more likely a scum gambit to keep herself alive.
That said, knowing the game state at that point, I wasn't going to discount it and I'm slightly peeved I didn't flip and give Town that information.

Hmm.... In spite of that, I do feel that Ghostlin is likely town.

Because it still felt like a really bold move that scum would have been more hesitant toward.
Granted I don't think anyone actually believed her, but the point still stands.

Well, that's caked with WIFOM though, isn't it?
I mean, no scum would admit that they believed a claim before hammering, so that points is kind of moot.

The act is weak, sure, but the way it went down looked town.

@ TMT: Sorry, thought I posted before, the first L-1 should have been L-2. My question was why you didn't put AA9 to L-1 at Ghostlin's request?

What's bothering me right now is the fact CDB hasn't posted, and promised us something, what, two, three days ago?

Civ 5 is taking up his time.

CDB seems pretty town to me though.

I wouldn't mark him out as possible scum, but he does seem relatively town.

Hello. Civilisation V is a time-sucker and I'm bad at making myself stop playing it to do stuff. I'm catching up on another game tonight before bed but will get to this as soon as I'm up in the morning (which may not be *early* but it'll be the morning). If I don't, you should probably lynch me.

I will keep posting as much as I can but I will be somewhat V/LA for about a week til I get my new computer, my carpal tunnel is having a major flare up even though I am on the computer a lot less due to the angle I am sitting while using NSs computer

Could my non-townreads please post more so I can agonise over how to interpret their posts?

Unfortunately, when you have 3 people active and the rest not-so-active, there isn't much you can do..

OK, I'm going back through Day 2 now - still technically on shift at work so it might be a bit slow but I'm on it now.

Well, that was shorter than I was expecting.
I'll start with Ghostlin. The way he went about the hammer looks town (probably enough to ignore him today) but I still have reservations. While Fuzzy's logic is all wrong (you can't explain why town might do something and then insist that scum wouldn't try to do that, because the whole point of scum is that they want to look like town) I think it's fairly obvious that he believes what he's saying, so I find posts like
this hard to understand.
On this:
...my answer has to be 'no, not something specific in that last post'
but
, assuming for now that the masons are telling the truth, I find it difficult to imagine a scumgroup not containing TMOAFGKAMLDXP at this point. I'm happy enough to call Fuzzy, DV and Saint town for the time being and that does narrow things down a fair bit.
Amrun, you haven't actually spoken about TSAPTERASA today despite the early vote - could you summarise why you're voting him please? BRO, could you explain the quoted post?

No worries, I've
just
gone back to the last page to look for more and caught Amrun addressing TPAMPFFOAOGJAD (it helps when you're not just ISOing). I'm pretty much on board with the case.

How does he know it's not a scum gambit?
In addition to, you know, the entire rest of the post being weak as fuck.
