He is a little suspicious, I'm not as suspicious of him as others are, but what's worse than lynching a townie right now is letting the game lag on until everybody quits playing.

I understand most of the people in this game being doubtful of my claim, I was susprised CSI wasn't an investigative role too, but it's not. If I was scum, with all the shows on primetime TV, why would I claim a role likely to have investigative abilities, but say I was a townie? I could have just as easily chosen one of plenty of shows that more sense as a townie. Why would I make a claim that would probably draw more suspicioun onto me if it wasn't true?
People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss Whedon

Pug89, that could be your actual Mafia role-name, for all we know. Wasn't the Serial Killer "taken down in a hail of gunfire" last night? You probably claimed townie because there were so many claimed power roles in the open.
I have a feeling this game is just going to be abandoned: our Mod doesn't seem have been on the site at all as of late.

and I really would like to play this. If you could get Lostprophet it would be majorly appreciated.
MEME we can conduct vote counts ourselvesMeMe wrote:Have you all given up the possibility of playing this? Or do you want me to try to get hold of Lostprophet?
When lynching we can just say our role
I or someone else with mod powers can change the title lock thread edit first post etc.
the next player to die can deal with night choices if they have enough experiance or a replacement mod
MeMe we have got this far in the game we are not going to quit
vote: No Mod
current count
No Mod (1) Max
Quit (0)
FIND LP (0)
it's the fairest way to do it decide as a group

I think this game is going to need Lostprophet's notes: he knows the past two night actions of everybody, as well as any and all special mechanics (such as the killing methods of different players), and things players may not be aware of (such as whether or not Ubertimmy is Sane, if he is a Cop, or if Armlx's Role-Blocking only works for certain players).
I vote to

, and if that can't be done, then I would rather play in a different game where I can be more sure the game will actually finish. I've put enough effort into this game that I would rather finish it, but only so long as we're playing with the actual set-up LostProphet created."Logic? I call that flapdoodle."

Basically what PJ said.
I want to finish this game, I want to find LP. When we find LP I want him to also send all his notes to whoever is willing to be a replacement mod because I bet money on him disappearing again. If we can't find LP in a reasonable amount of time, then we should probably just abandon the game, as much as I'd hate to do that.

That might say more about MeMe than the state of the game.al_kohaulec wrote:uh oh, our last chance try has been mentioned in post #666, that's a bad sign...MeMe wrote:Well, it's been more than 72 hours since I sent messages in the manner that workedlasttime. Since it appears our mod isn't coming back, if everybody still wants to play, and we can't find somebody else to mod this, I wouldn't mind replacing myself as a player, and acting as the mod. Just as long as we agree upon something here.Kelly Chen wrote:Seems like a replacement mod could guess at a cop's sanity (based on what he'd received so far), and make other judgments based on what would appear to be balanced and simple.

Meh, that's fine with me. So long as you modkill Lloyd.
This game is long and boring. And it's been Day Two for about two months. The town hasn't even lynched anybody. *sigh*
I would be just as good having this game end so I can play in something that's actually going to include

I'm having doubts that even if we find a replacement mod, and try to have him do all this stuff, that it's been so long that we won't have enough interest left from the town to continue playing, and it's not worth it to replace the majority of the town for this either.petroleumjelly wrote:Meh, that's fine with me. I have notes on this game, but otherwise I only cared to remember so much, like the fact that Lloyd and Max claimed masons, and we should lynch Lloyd cause he's a mason, otherwise I got nothing.
So maybe it is time to just
