after this game i'm not sure i'm capable of townreading scumconeum anymore; you'll recall in alisae vs. pine i correctly scumcased his associatives with flipped scumslots but ALSO correctly identified his avoidance of pivotal associative moments & inability to correctly engage with the game in a way which indicated a solving mindset - not because he didn't hold a conversation properly

maybe i've just played with iconeum too much

early & reactive townread to Uncrowned's posting is quite far outside of scumconeum's m.o. but functions as telling of a solving mindset - as it happens i agree. ico didn't take the time to wait this out and check how his read would be received. you'll recall in AvP he played his reads very safe and quite close to Ali's; when I called him out on it instead of Ali, and explained why i felt his reads were wrong, ico didn't know how to react. scumconeum has reads for political benefit, townconeum has reads for solving benefit.

this is ico on the attack; he's capable of looking assertive as scum but very rarely has the actual balls to out and be the first non-rvs vote on a wagon when he's not sure if it will have support. again this is an anti political read, it's a read he is earnest about. hh also presents to me as a scarier target than LAMIST who ico ~does~ take an opportunity to make an observation about, but (correctly) treats it as null despite it being optically poor:

here we see HH on the defence like, far preemptively and iconeum rather than backing away or attempting to double down on what looks optically bad (the fact HH is on the defence too early) he's just laying down candid posts - it's a call to action for HH to stop having a tantrum about being voted and engage with the game in good faith, not an effort to make HH look bad.

this is a kind of abstract tell and quite difficult to impart but have you experienced "towny sass" much yet? ico has towny sass; scumconeum can be assertive and sometimes funny but he's rarely sharp and sassy
