Was it ever in your mind? Can we expect an uptick in activity? Why should that change in activity be viewed as town-motivated?In post 646, Dunnstral wrote:This game has beenout of my mindlong enough that I forgot about the claim

@Clark The chance of Ely lying is basically nonexistent, other than Jam & Volxen not having had time to chime in. If they were lying, the game would be over and town would win automatically (we have enough days to elim both, and one of the two would be the last maf). I have faith that Ely is not this bad!
So I am not sure there is any point in discussing this.
Dunn... why are you getting ely to out results so fast? As I was saying yesterday, it's actually good to try and hide them. We've either already won or we're in doc setup, so Ely can continue to get results indefinitely until the doc dies, then release them.
... so, should we just kill Dunn for that obviously maf play? Of anyone here, he should know better.- ClarkBar

Thank you! It was eloquent and to the point. Far be it for me to pat myself on the back, but since you brought it up...
Seriously though, no elim is a no go for me. I'm fairly new at this, but it seems the greatest favor you can do for scum is to set up a consequence day period. **WIFOM ALERT** If I were scum I'd love the idea of a no elimination.- WerewolfDon

I'll check back in tomorrow when some of y'all have decided to actually read what I've written and made some effort to infer. In post 656, WerewolfDon wrote:@Clark The chance of Ely lying is basically nonexistent, other than Jam & Volxen not having had time to chime in. I have to agree with this to be honest. In post 617, UNOwen wrote:ClarkBar + The Bulge put Walter in danger zone unecessarily, Don + volxen would have been bussing to suicidal levels.
So sorting should be between me, Dunnstral and Jam.

See, I know exactly what this is getting at.
Dunn you're already at E1.
If you're going to "claim" Doctor do it now.
If you claim Doctor and are telling the truth, we have 3 conf town.
The Bulge, Dunnstral, and Elychres.
Day 2, if we hammer a person incorrectly, Doctor saves Cop, we either have D3 with 3 conf towns, or 2 conf towns and scum.
The point is I don't believe your Doctor breadcrumbs with 650.
If you're going to claim it, claim it.I dislike how the 50th post is classed as post 49.- JamSV

I'm going with your concerns in 650
You and I are the 2 most likely hammers today, if we know who the Doctor is, it's still a guaranteed win for town with correct play from the Cop, and it's a faster win.
If the Doctor ends up getting killed N2, we still go into D3 with 3 conf roles.
A cop, and either 2 town, or town and 1 scum.
If we know who the doctor is, the hammer pool goes down, and in a vacuum, we'd have a 1/4 chance of hitting scum. Of course, that isn't the case. Don's basically safe town, unless, as UNOwen said, bussing to suicidal levels. Though, that applies more to Don as he was pushing much harder than volxen. In that case it goes up to 1/3 or 1/2 depending on exactly who the Doc is. Let's say we get it wrong, and hit a Vanilla Townie, we fix what we did during Day 3 and win then.
The Doctor claiming guarantees a town win, latest being Day 3.
If the Doctor doesn't claim, the win isn't guaranteed, as we'd end up in a Hammer or Lose day 4.
If we don't eliminate we get to Hammer or Lose day 4 with even more room for someone to make a huge mistake.
The safest win, and the quickest win, is when the Doctor reveals today to reduce the Hammer Pool. That's all there is to it. That's why, I'm asking if you're the Doctor, and I'm asking you in particular, due to 650 feeling like Doc crumbs, not for a fake claim as Mafia, for a counter claim against Mafia. So, once again, if you are actually the Doctor, claim, and we can win Day 3, maybe even Day 2.
Claiming Vanilla Townie by the way.I dislike how the 50th post is classed as post 49. - JamSV
