Here's my hypothetical brain's wording of their role ability:
If they're town, we've got two bad lock-ins in a row that they decided that being absent from thread the entirety of the game day beats killing whoever they'd locked the night before.
Either way probably a poor interaction of the role with a vaguely stated condition of what happens if they don't trigger the second part... so they just sit there in the void forever.
i want more data on the mariaboy exit before commenting on the possibilities there but if he is scum, it's either related to whatever is doing that (e.g. there will be no lylo to actually test it) or he's banking on people not hammering him because they're town
(i havent really thought about how seriously im considering this possibility, it's just something that i'm swirling around in my head atm and i want to see how long mariaboy can exist outside of the game because i think there has to be some limit to it as a scum ability but i guess we'll see)
basically the further away endgame, the more time to figure out what's going on with abilities in this game, the easier it'll be to solve it come late game... probably
which is why i'm still fine with just going to N3 here
(i don't think there's a full roleblocker in this game)
