What irritates me most is that he thinks he has some kind of right to be followed as town leader. And he is pushing to end the day early, to prevent town (or me in particular) in providing as much info/insight/solving as possible before my slot is very likely NK’d post-flip.

Right now, there are three possibilities for scum in my coalition. TD, Chenn, and Maria.

Frankly because the only way we ever lynch the persuasive scum is through me. The last scum is either sky or RC. If not, there's zero chance arena plays out the way it did. I'm leaning in favor of Sky because she has done jackshit but is coasting behind the noise Nancy makes.

RC is still possible if he planned to brute force Moongrass over my illness.

They could put RC, who'd ego trip putting me in because of his identity being invested in Titus being bad. Then claim it was necessary. Then they'd lynch RC as scum in the coalition. Much clearer path.

They could also have put Creature as the puck (this points against RC scum) and have Creature gladiate Chemist and a mislynchable town. Thus clearing 2 for 1 possibly.

If anyone is assuming that Moongrass is scum, I think you have to assume that his partner is

not

a deepwolf or someone that would otherwise survive until end game.

Scum chose him as a gladiator, and then hypothetical scum!Moon chose scum!Creature and town!chemist. Scum, with full control of who gets put in the arena voluntarily chose to always lose at least 1 team mate. That basically only makes sense for them if the risk of letting a townie have free reign would have been worse—eg. Moongrass' teammate is another LHF—and scum didn't want to risk possibly losing 2 members. They may also have thought they could kill Moongrass and then get Creature town cred through this argument since he was their deepest wolf.

Otherwise, I think if you assume a "deep wolf" then Moongrass scum doesn't make much sense?

What I think you're missing is that creature chemist pairing was always going to die, and Moongrass was always going to die if they don't pick them

Everyone also agreed that creature chemist had to die so like scum could have had Creature or Chemist challenge and try to bait a mislynch but that was really their only out
