Ok guys. Sorry I haven't been here the past few days. I don't have internet at my new apartment yet, but I'm home now for the holidays, so I can be active again.
The thing that pops out to me out of the things that have happened recently is the fact that nacho has voted for dramonic. I assume there are 2 scum left, because 9/3 is the typical town/mafia ratio, so that means we're probably in lylo. I'm working on setting up my own game of mafia and balance is a major issue for me at this point so I don't see how there could possibly be only 1 mafia left. 10 town with cop, doc, and vig just seems like it would be overbalanced in town's favor.
Ok, so there's a vote out and we're in lylo. The fact that the game isn't over should raise some questions. I think this means either dramonic or nacho is scum, or maybe they're both scum. I don't think the final two scum would have any need to drag out the game when they could just vote and end it.

Exactly. The reason I think that I've pegged dramonic as scum is because of his reaction: no townie I know would barely try to defend himself; I would've unvoted had dramonic responded how stupid my vote was, if he made a case no matter who it was on, or if he changed his current playstyle AT ALL. But what amazed me is the simple fact that he didn't. And, days and days later, even after every single person has checked in and shown they're still here, no scum quicklynch for the win.Dragonfly13 wrote:Ok, so there's a vote out and we're in lylo. So, I'd like all of the town to comment on who they think should be lynched and why. I'll expand on my dramonic case when everyone's done.

Get your vote off me, your case on me is a lie and if you're not scum I'm in quickhammer range.
What, that? Seems pretty damn half-hearted to me.

You because of your general uselessness, odd reactions, and lack of any sort of scumhunting whatsoever.
Dragonfly because of DRK's read on him, and because of his interactions with Kise day 1.

Ok, I've read the entire thread now.
First of all, this game benefits from a mass claim. It is my belief that knowing of the presence of any powerroles out there would benefit the town much more then them avoiding nightkill.
I'm willing to start:
CLAIM: vanilla townie
---------------------------------------------------------
Day 1 began with the lynch of the village idiot. Someone pro-town who behaves strangly and mildly scummy. It is a lynch that scum love to get, as it means they can mislynch without drawing much suspicion.
Seraphim strongly defended BloodCovenent. He was also the main drive of the alternate DRK wagon. Canadian was the only one who voted before he did, and that was in the RVS. This behaviour is not at all how I expect scum to behave. They want the VI mislynch to happen, so if they defend the VI, it usually won't be vehemently, and if they support an alternate wagon, it usually won't be one started completely by them.
Taranski initially strongly supported the lynch. He unvoted when BC was at L-2, but continually showed that he wouldn't mind a BloodCovenent lynch. This behaviour fits more with how I expect scum who doesn't want to be on the wagon to behave.
Nachomamma was mildly against the Blood wagon initially, but changed his opinion later during day 1. When he joined the wagon, it had been standing at 4 votes for a while, and DRK was becoming a reasonable alternative. I can see scum joining the wagon there to reinvigorate it, but joining the DRK wagon would be a more logical choice for scum to make.
Dragonfly joined the Blood wagon when it was gathering speed, as part of a flurry of other votes. His reasoning mainly specifies why Blood's behaviour is odd, and not at all why Blood's behaviour is likely to come from scum. Later during the day, he keeps the option of leaving the bandwagon open, but keeps supporting it. Out of all players currently still alive, I believe Dragonfly was most suspicious if you only consider the day 1 wagon.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Day 2 saw a lynch of scum. A lynch the other mafia want to avoid if they have the chance, but they don't mind bandwagoning if the lynch is inevitable either.
Seraphim did not post any content whatsoever during day 2. His last post with content is actually post #218. After that he kept promising to post later, kept running out of time, then disappeared completely. Considering his activity during day 1 and the fact that he was later replaced, I believe it is unlikely he decided to actively lurking. He simply got busier, and went inactive. Null tell, too bad no info can be gained here.
Taranski decided to invest less time in this game halfway through day 2. He voted kise because Hoopla said he should, becoming one of the early votes on the wagon, made at a time when a kise lynch could still have been avoided. Town points there.
Nachomamma tried to lynch saberwolf for the largest part of day 2. Only when it became absolutely clear that that wasn't going to work, he joined the kise wagon, putting kise at L-1. This feels like a move that both town and scum could make. Town would change wagons in order to secure a lynch. Scum can't suddenly go inactive around the deadline without drawing attention to themselves, can't keep their vote of the wagon if that would mean a no lynch (because, that too, draws attention) and can bus a partner who is almost certainly going to be lynched anyway.
Dragonfly completely ignored the kise wagon. He did not comment on it AT ALL, except for the remark that he would drop a hammer to secure a lynch. He was active, and the kise wagon was the most popular wagon for a large part of the day, yet he didn't say anything about it. Extremely suspicious considering the flip.
------------------------------------------------------------
Day 3 ended in a no lynch. That was probably the correct decission considering the situation. However, not much alignement info can be gained from the stances on it, because I can see scum defending both parts of the argument.
------------------------------------------------------------
Day 4 saw nachomamma vote dramonic, without a quicklynch following. However, because firefly and Taranski haven't been online at the same time, and therefore couldn't quickhammer, this doesn't tell me anything at all.
------------------------------------------------------------
None of the nightkills give us strong info on players still alive. gads went mainly after kise, hoopla effectively started the kise wagon making her virtually confirmed town, and DRK was the claimed vig.
------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusions:
Seraphim's behaviour during day 1 is a strong indication of him being pro-town. Besides, neither Seraphim nor dramonic has taken any actions that actually favour scum. TOWN.
Dragonfly's position on the bandwagons of both day 1 and 2 is extremely suspicious. SCUM
Taranski was not on the town bloodlynch, and was part of the kise scum lynch. LIKELY TOWN.
Nachomamma positions on the bandwagons aren't great. Also, he voted someone I am virtually sure is town during what is likely LYLO. PROBABLY SCUM.
------------------------------------------------------
I'll try to look at connections if I can find the time.

Normally I would read this and go "Ok, sensible enough." However, it has been 6 days since I've cast the initial vote. I think even the most unorganized of scum could get together within 6 days and organize a quicklynch, don't you?Day 4 saw nachomamma vote dramonic, without a quicklynch following. But we do know that either Dramonic or I is scum, or there is 1 scum left as opposed to 2.Also, he voted someone I am virtually sure is town during what is likely LYLO.

Oh wait, they are allowed to daytalk of course. I was thinking they had to organise in thread. well then one of them have to be scum or scum is trolling.
good post by sable, its kind of giving me some initiative to play. Gonna look back and see if I trust you, and see if your thoughts line up with Hoopla's. Because I still think just following her is the way to go.
