I accept that there is likely a role that detects executioners, and one very important to the town at that. My argument is that I don't think there are two such roles.

If you believe it is a 50/50 split between them and also that the power is fairly important to town - then I still don't see the value in trying to make a judgement call on that one on Day 1.

If I thought it was a 50/50 split between them, I wouldn't be voting either.

Hey everyone, I'm back. Axelrod's claim seems to muddy the waters a bit. His claim has not overcome the inertia requirements for me to stop believing shadow's claim though. I hate to point out that I also have a role at allows me to know the executioner in certain conditions. The certain condition being I know who the executioner is if it is me. As you can see, that isn't really saying much. Of course, the obvious point is that the mafia would have a good idea of who the executioner is. Not that I want to be a role fisher, but without more information, I am not likely to treat Axel's claim with much import.

Ser panda has accurately described what the high fives were for. I am now retracting my high five from quilford though - why not just read the thread instead of insulting the game? This has been a pretty interesting one thus far.

TheShadow flip flopping based off the changing whims of the thread seems über scummy now... The pressure is (mostly) off of you... Why are you insisting on playing like a headless sheep?

It seemed as if people are deciding things based on Axel's "claim". I just wanted to point out that based on his claim, it describes every role in the game, so it isn't a claim, just as mine wasn't. If it was so obvious, why didn't anyone else notice?
