Well, I guess I don't have to say anything then.

(That hammer post could've used an explicit mjollnir reference though.)

It's still twilight. You could say it anyways!

Always the flair for the dramatic the town takes this one right down to the wire ultimately deciding that FourTrouble apparently does mean at least 4 different types of trouble, and being nothing but... you know... might as well string him up. To the gallows! Tie the noose, pull the support under Four... and watch that little troublemaker swing! His alignment quickly becomes apparent to the town without even so much as a body search as when he swings from the rope, a gun pops out of his pocket! The last scum! Yes! At last the town is safe. At least until your divine moderator decides to create some more scum... DUN DUN DUUUUUUN

FourTrouble
Mafia Goon
lynched Day 3

The town wincon has been acheived as the scumteam has been utterly wiped off the face of the earth. Congratulations to the town on it's victory!

Edited the quicktopics into the endgame post. We're just about to go out the door for supper though, so I don't have time to add much else at this point.

Posting from phone. Called Syryana being the doctor after the quickhammer D2 to Mina. Figured the reason we didn't die N1 was because scum knew there was a doctor. Thanks a lot for the save!

CES this was the most obvtown game I think I've ever seen you play.

Thanks a lot for the game, Zach! It's been great playing with all you guys, hope to see you in future games.

Any time :D

I think Nacho felt you were the doc, since he RB'd you night 1.
Almost saved Sixty too, I coin flipped between you and them N1 and Sixty lost. Poor Sixty. N2 I knew they'd go after you, you were the most obvtown person here.

Well done, Town!

First off: yes, I know it's mainly about Vi, but I get the
weirdest
feeling being referred to as a "veteran" by Syryana.

Syryana--very good game, it's always good to see new MS players who know what they are doing. My main issue with you is your notion of obvTown tending to be scum. If nothing else, by sheer probability, obvTown are more likely to be Town than scum, and being suspicious of them before they even get a chance to die is a bit odd. Sure, suspect the obvTown player who stays alive on D4 as the scumteam is clearly
not
PR hunting, but on D1/D2? Some players are just really really really obvious as Town, and Empire, Mina and I are one such set. Vi is never scum, so it helps too. (>")> Your choices between doc protection targets were good, and Vi and I had settled that we would probably not believe any doctor claim if Death and Taxes there had died N1.

And Mina, just pet the puppy and we'll be okay with that D1 FT read. U^.^U

Tierce, we got Nacho right so let's split the profits 50/50?

(CES could take a share too I GUESS)

I think the suspicion of obvtown originates from my old site. I played with the same 9 people every time, and they got really good at playing obvtown. It made me paranoid, to say the least. I had loads of fun this game! I'm interested to see Sotty's post game thoughts too.

Well played, everyone.

And it only took me quickhammering a cop. (Good read though.)

wooooooooooooo

And sorry, I totally sucked this game. I was right about FT though

I think now with this game done, I have only one other game and then I am taking a bit of a break from mafia, I am burnt out and it is showing, and effecting the game.

This is the post that made me think Jason was the dr and got me off him at the start of day two. I know he likes to pointlessly crumb his role so I figured he was trying to tell me something. The day I put my vote on Nacho I walked to work and realized that he could have just said that because Whiskers is a cat name and then I felt like an idiot. But I came home, and after Zach trolling me for a few minutes I was happy to learn nacho flipped scum and all was right with the world. I decided to keep Jason town for all the reasons I listed in that he is an awesome easy lynch and I wasn't wrong. Both scum were dripping all over him.

Syryana being the doc makes sense now, the only real way his ballsy play makes sense. I still liked your opening to the game, it was well thought out, fuck the haters.

Sixty's play really rubbed me the wrong way on day one, still kinda does. The fact Tierce's meta is to play that way is sorta mind blowing to me. I don't know if I am too old fashioned or what, but I kinda expect townies to do more than say they are town. Maybe I just got bent out of shape, I don't know, but whatever. I think I need more exposure to today's site meta, because I'm not great at reading it.

Jason, please stop signing up for games. <3

CES, the answer is to always sheep you. I know this now. /successful cult recruit.

I will, Sotty.. I will

I know, I tried to tell them.

But to be fair, it is always good to lynch you no matter your alignment :P

If you are scum, you would push my lynch to the ends of the earth... as town you look for reason to my behaviour in game.

You guys all had such good analysis. This was such a tough game to play, everyone seemed like such obvious town I had no idea who to go after. I have a lot to improve on for my next scum game.

CES was pretty impressive with the way he figured things out, definitely taught me a thing or three about catching scum.

Out of mild curiosity, if you'd lived today who would you have killed this night, FT?
FourTrouble wrote:CES was pretty impressive with the way he figured things out, definitely taught me a thing or three about catching scum.

There's a very, very, very good reason we call CES things like Magic Man, lasereyes, and "really really fucking dangerous."

I agree. The puppy eyes and assorted cutesy woofs were enormously helpful in hunting down FT <3

Well when someone suspects you and you say

"lol no I'm obv town and you are clearly dumb/scum for thinking otherwise vote: you"

It makes me hard to respect that play. That's basically what you did to me. I saw no other real explanation for why you ever thought I was scum other than that and I think that's pretty crap and for some reason it just made me mad. Maybe because Vi was in your hydra and I kinda expected something more substantial.

There was plenty more. Namely you keeping that giant ball and us with no access to it.
How dare you.

Which reminds me:

(It was originally this, but then we died and etc.)

Other than that, Vi was seeing Sotty/FT connections, and you weren't putting in as much effort as we wanted to see from you. The fact that you suspected us was just the catalyst to move our vote around to keep things in the same page and the ball (!) rolling.

But mostly the ball.
