Zzzz.
VOTE: Riddle
Enough prod dodges. Gimme some thoughts on things. My read on you is distressingly null and you should try to change that.
What do you make of elle/LR/dave interactions?
What do you think of GC?
Of the people who are posting less/potentially lurking, who do you think is most likely to be scum and why?

I'm feeling depressingly demotivated atm. Someone ask me things or give me things to do because I feel really disengaged right now.

So with confirms, towns and this, that's me not wanting to vote for:

Kaboose. NJAC. davesaz. Grib. GC. awesomeusername. and now LR.

So that leaves:
Cheetory. ILF. Corpses. swag. and Riddleton.

I really only quoted this to get your 543, but why do you not want to vote NJAC?

Whatisswag wrote:By the way, if you guys are wondering, it was a post dave made 4 months ago.

Is this whole thing something you can share? If you found something that clears him as town to you why aren't you sharing? Is that against the rules and I'm just too new to know? Or what's going on. Why are we supposed to just see this and think it's okay? Are you going to just tell me you don't care what I think about it? Please don't. You wouldn't have made these posts unless you wanted us to know what you think, so please tell me why I should care what you think.

Whatisswag wrote:Btw, MASONS DONT RECRUIT TONIGHT. For obvious reasons.

I'd imagine the only people looking to avoid the mason's recruiting would be scum.

Why should recruiting be done night one? The chances of scum hitting 3 masons rather than 2 masons is higher.

Why not lets get rid of riddle's slot before it gets replaced?

I never said it should be done N1. Just that we shouldn't care when they do it. Let them decide when they should do it.

On the bolded, you really think he was? Like, if you're looking at safe votes, I would think that elle or awesome would be easier votes, no? Pitch me this.

Answer: Yes, I really think several people have said that they think swag is suspicious. elle, dave, Corpses all did, from off the top of my head. They have been some of the most active players in the game (Corpses when he was actually playing).

Pitch: Moving votes makes you look active. Good for scum.

However, elle was an actively popular suspect, potentially leading to a lynch. If elle gets lynched, her bandwagon will get more scrutiny than other bandwagons. Doubly so if elle is to flip town. Bad for scum.

Voting for swag, who was popular to suspect at an earlier time, is more safe. People agree with the suspicions. So, good for scum. However, unlike elle, there isn't a focus on seeing the swag vote through. Less likely for a bandwagon to lynch, less likely there will be scrutiny on the vote. Also good for scum.

What activity Riddle has provided I think comes from town.

The other players to be replaced aren't in as good standing. I had some problems with Corpses play, even if upon reread I think that the severity of my suspicions were lessened. NJAC is null. Fairies I think looks scummish. Even awesome, who I had at lean town earlier, has scum points for his hedging.

Here we go again:
elleheathen wrote: I'm still holding to my feels that the first to confirms will be the least likely to be scums and would rather lynch outside of them today - unless they really just do something that starts absolutely screaming scum to me.

So when someone confirms it tells more about the role they got and less about the time zone they live in?

Never took time zones into consideration - doesn't change anything.

That just seems like a really lousy way to create your first impression on someone.

Where were you on the confirmed list?

I still don't understand the thought process behind the theory that scum would wait to confirm, when the mod would be able to see whether the non-confirmed scum is chatting in the scum thread, thereby circumventing the failure to confirm.

Has nothing to do with talking in the scum thread.

I thought the theory was that scum would wait to confirm so that they could talk longer before the game began?

Mine is mostly that it feels more towny to confirm that quickly, ie. no hesitation

I don't expect anyone to agree or go along with it - it's just my feels on those firsts. I just know that, personally, as scum - it takes me a little bit to get my bearings. Mind, I love getting scum role pms but I still swear up a storm when I do - and then proceed to ISO some of the playerlist to see what I can exploit and get a feel for them, I think about what I want my entry to look like, I do a quick reexamination of my town games. I mean, I wouldn't have even have accepted this game if I'd gotten a scum role pm - I take it that serious. So it takes me a bit - I hesitate.

Do I think everyone does this? No.
Do I think it could be flawed due to the holidays? Yes.
Am I pressuring others to my way of thinking or affecting your votes because of it? No.
So leave it be.

This is a bit bothersome. You would have failed to confirm / replaced out if you got a scum PM? You might be honestly relating how you feel, but it's not the type of thing that's going to give you town credibility.

No, I wouldn't have failed to confirm or replaced out - I wasn't even supposed to be in this game.
