1) scratch any sort of analysis on the nature of people's vegetables. that was a waste of time. let's get back to normal scum hunting.
2) i'm surprised i didn't die last night because i was on the only confirmed townie. this means that either 1) scum were being careful in case there was a doc who would protect me or that 2) scum did target me and i was protected while the kill resulted from a vig.
i'm tempted to believe that there is a vig because oman would not have a been a top choice for scum to go after given that he was already one of the top suspects from the town.

I do have a post restriction, of two posts per page, and 150 words per post. That said, I was very convinced that Oman was scum, and I'm not sure who is, since I was wrong. I think I expressed my suspicions of thedragonsprincess before, due to her comments which seemed to be seeking a counterclaim to destructor's half-claim. I guess there could be a destructor/thedragonsprincess scumteam. My only other suspect is Phate, due to his weird claim for no apparent reason, and scumminess surrounding the ryan lynch, but I don’t see him as a possible scumpartner for thedragonsprincess, so that makes that theory less likely.
Sorry for not posting more, but I really was lost when Oman turned out to be town. I was hoping for something more definite before using my posts up.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Yes, there's a three strikes rule, and I guess he used one of them. I didn't know that he had.
My only defence is that I'm a pea and apparently my opinion isn't very important since I'm so small. I'm also investigation proof so I can't even clear myself that way.
And yes, it's a sucky post restriction. But it's mine and I have to play with it. That said, I think my case on Oman was reasonable, even though it turned out to be wrong.
Soupfly, I think maybe the scum thought you'd be protected and looked elsewhere. I would have protected you and I think most people would have, given that you were the only confirmed town.

I agree that I should use my second strike rather than spam up the thread. I have one more (not sure if exceeding BOTH the word count and posting counts as one or two strikes). Because I'm so small, I'm immune to all night actions except for the nightkill. I read that to mean I can't be protected, investigated, whatever. That said, I have no night actions myself, so regardless of the weird flavour of my role, I'm essentially a vanilla townie.
I think we should look more closely at Phate and Crub. Also, to prevent the LYLO situation, if town decides I should be lynched, I think it would be better for me to deliberately exceed my word count/post count so that I will be modkilled, so we only lose one townie and don't go to night. That verifies my claim without the risk of the nightkills. Agreed?

Rule number 8 says modkills take the place of a day's lynch, so getting yourself modkilled would be the equivalent of self-hammering.
I still find the PR iffy and the whole night actions thing doesn't help a heap. You didn't answer gorckat's question about a town being 'investigation' proof. And why'd you bring that up, anyway? Our Cop is dead.
Also, I'm not liking the way you seem to be cleaning up the edges of your claim in each post. First you didn't mention the restriction of 2 posts per page or the 150-word limit, then you didn't mention the three strikes rule. You also only mentioned being investigation proof in 680 but in your last post expand that to
This will be impossible to clarify, short of you dying, but given the nature of your role, I'm surprised the Mod didn't inform you that you'd already used a strike up.
Your role claim is sounding very outlandish.
That said, I don't feel comfortable about lynching you just yet.
Because you were at L-2 and I want to do some more rereading before this day is done.

sorry for the lack of posting the past few days- we had some horrible windstorms here and our internet was out. but now I'm back.... I'm confused why originally bookitty placed a vote on me claiming she had previous suspicions on me, but then on the same page states that we should begin looking at phate and crub, but doesnt give a reason why. once we reach the next page- care to elaborate your reasons bookitty?

I refuse to say QFT, but that's what I mean.destructor wrote:Also, I'm not liking the way you seem to be cleaning up the edges of your claim in each post. I'd imagine a person with a restriction like that would be trying to max out each post, especially once people know you have one.

I just finished doing some sort of a simulation and I think we should consider a No Lynch today.
I need to look over it again, but basically, if we mislynch today the town's chance of winning will be reduced to less than 40% and we'll either be in lylo or have a scum win. Lynching scum will give us a 55% chance of winning and No Lynch gives us 42% and is guaranteed to take us to Day 5 at the least. All of this is assuming scum kill every night.
I'll elaborate more when I've got a bit more time. You guys better appreciate this. It took me hours! =D

Did you forget about the possibility of 2 kills tonight?destructor wrote:I just finished doing some sort of a simulation and I think we should consider a No Lynch today.

No, I factored that in. Given the Oman night kill I think it's safe to assume the second killer is pro-town and will only kill if it's safe. Before I explain the scenarios further, I'd like to hear what the rest of you think.
Bookitty, anther question for you: What is your actual

? We've seen every role name so far being associated with a more traditional role. You've explained to us your flavour, but have made no mention of your actual role..::][:::::][:::::][:::::][::.
