It's possible, it could also save an investigation from being lost if your target dies that night, tho only you can ask the mod about that.
Speaking of you didnt really need to claim if you thought you were dying coz we'd see the flip after all.

I only looked at VC to know if it's hammer or not. I didn't remember sakura's claim.

Though to be honest with you even if I did remember it I'm not sure I should treat it as gospel. I don't think it would have stopped me.
