yes but the reason we no limmed on d1 was to do the mech plan of winning via tasks or w/e
there is no task win condition this game so that mindset obviously doesn't apply - we can only win by killing all the scum.
I think the general point still stands
In addition, we
almost
voted out Town!Titus D1 that game
in spite of
people following the mech plan
~GE
yea but you're reading bell as scum off one game where we no limmed for a specific reason that literally is not present in this game.

20% is worse than random so yeah, that would be a skill issue

Don't do it.
I don't want to hammer No Lim.
Hammering No Lim is not cool, no blood or something.

I understand a town consensus day1 vote but we are in a 1v1.
I believe ceph did this for townie reasons but I don't think it ended up with a great vote even if taly was my top in his list.
This day is too long because bullshit spam, not because taly is at fault.
I'll read reasons I should vote anyway tomorrow but tonight I'm out.
Rad, taking a shot is always the right play.
Hell, in most games, if the day approaches deadline on Day 1, self hammering to ensure that an elim passes is better then letting the timer run out and no elimination happen. Like that is a scenario written on the wiki page for self-voting presented as the time when it might be positive to do an otherwise bad thing.
In any case in which another elimination is still possible, it is almost always anti-town to self-hammer. However, if the day's deadline is imminent, a No Elimination would be statistically worse for town, and no other options are available, it can be appropriate for the player to self-hammer, providing the town with some information from that day, and preventing their likely elimination on future days.
A No Elimination is worse for town then literally self-voting, killing the only player in the game that is mod confirmed town to you (yourself).
And both Ceph and Taly have a non-zero chance of being scum. They both have multiple people scum reading them. Either one of them dying would be better then no one dying.
NO THAT’S WRONG!
I’ve gotten told off in the past for self-hammering at deadline. So no it’s not “always better”!

Because he NEVER needed to use it, it was a bad move on Cephrir’s behalf.
You wouldn't hold this position if he used it on someone you were scumreading.

Did y’all say anything actually important?
I haven’t caught up from before so I don’t know if anyone has any questions for me or anything.
What’s the VC at?
Well when we were gonna push you to make it Frog wagon and you CW, Cephrir decided to use his Galdiate ability on Taly.
Why? Why would a wagon be starting up?
I was freaking AFK?
The last I saw Frog said something about not recognizing him town for something I haven’t read?
This feels like trying to dredge up old shit and stretching for a reason.
I don't think this is correct. IRC the two highest wagons at the time were Mala and Frog. You weren't being pushed. I don't know what the vote count was but I think both players had at least 6.

Also, Taly is very likely to die unless we no lim and this would be like the 3rd game now where they were miselimed for lower activity despite my hard vetoing it. Starcraft 1 (posthumously), OMB and this game. If Taly isn’t a hyperposting tryhard, they’re usually miselimbait.

I still want this addressed. I'm failing to see the town perspective from
Ceph's
play here and a no elimination will resolve very little, and indirectly posits that
Ceph
is town.

Exactly, I already said that. Rhetti was scum so it wasn’t T-T but it would absolutely have been town!Titus who would have been the casualty had we not no limmed.
