Yeah, I'm reading back through now. Some of Tyger's post I re-read were actually good cases against Jazz, but I just have trouble believing that Jazz isn't Doc. Then again, she could've just gotten a lucky fakeclaim and there might be NO Doc in this set-up.

What about the possibility that there’s a real doctor who prudently decided there was no reason to emerge, and instead stayed hidden when a antitown fakeclaimer (after tripping herself up so badly that she needed to make a fakeclaim) figured she might as well try to draw out a doctor in counterclaiming as she went down?

The reality is that I am a doctor, and it appears that I have fulfilled my protective role fairly well, with success on both Night 2 and Night 3. 1) You wre dropping hints *yesterday*, before you allegedly prevented a kill.

2) You won't say who you allegedly protected because supposedly you don't want the mafia to know- but if you actually stopped a kill (as you seem to think), then whoever tried to do that kill obviously already know who they targeted!

3) If you were telling the truth, then that means you know someone who is partially cleared (they can't be in one of the killing groups). You should be concerned about this information being lost if you get nightkilled. But even though you even pretend to consider what would happen if you die tonight, you don't mention this.

@Emptyger: You may have noticed I made the assumption in that post zewt was a death miller. It follows that if he was a death miller, his lynch would obviously be...er...a mislynch, to be repetitive a bit. I'm not saying he was, but I think it's better to err on the side of caution as far as the situation we're in is concerned, and to do that we need to presume the best case scenario didn't happen.

Second point: see above. Namely, the best-case-shouldn't-be-assumed-in-this-situation-for-caution.

Third point: MYLO means Mislynch and Lose. Basically, in a game with 1 kill per night, it means that if we no lynch, then it will be LyLO next day barring any scum deaths (which would be unlikely, seeming as in this example scum would have the only kill). If we lynch correctly, good job for us. If we mislynch, we would lose. Obviously the categorization this term creates is lost a little when there's more than one killing party, but it stays largely the same: if we mislynch now, I believe we will lose.

Reck: I myself don't see the arguments against Emp. However, I recognize that others do, and I would presume (THIS IS THE CRAZY BIT) that people who find someone suspicious would follow it up (I KNOW CRAZY RIGHT). You said yourself you find Emp scummy, and so I find it logical that you would follow it up. Of course, you said your suspicions after I called them logical, to deprive you of a follow up post, and I will also deprive me another answer post by saying that IIRC (Drench will have to read through again), people had been laying cases on Emp, and while I wasn't really convinced by them, I knew that at least the person who wrote the damn thing was.

And....yeah. Ooh, scumlists! Here goes:

(Except right before he was nearly lynched, when all of a sudden he voted Jazzmyn in [341] “Just so that if I get lynched today, everyone can see when I turn up town what my suspicions were.” A suspicious which disappeared as quickly as it came when Reckoner is off the chopping block, when he declares that “Jazz is cleared by my book.” in [352] without any reason as well.) And for someone so obsessed with Drench not answering a question, I don’t see why he won’t answer my questions about him FoSing those voting LF.

1) Jazzmyn stalled the zwet bandwagon until the channel changed, saving him from a lynch D1. She demanded in [104] that no one else vote until zwet claims. However- zwet had already claimed at that point, in [92]! The result is that channel deadline hits, and zwet becomes immune. Jazzmyn shows no hesitation when she is one of the first to point a finger at an alternate target, Santos.

2) Jazzmyn strongly hinted that she knew something about the killmethods in [206]. According to what she’s claimed, she shouldn’t have been able to make those deductions. And what she did indicate was misleading: she somehow insisted that there were 3 antitown groups- despite a dead JoaT and a dead vigilante. She’s contradicted herself on the reasoning behind it (first she said it’s because shooting is traditional

3) Jazzmyn starts to claim after *1* vote gets placed on her [368]. When Drench asks why she’s doing that, she tries to accuse them of rolefishing [370], when *she*’s been the one shamelessly dropping hints. Then she explicitly states that she’s a powerrole unprompted [372].

4) Jazzmyn’s attitude changes over N2. She goes from vague hints about being a powerrole and snaps to “stop rolefishing” and threats to never roleclaim like in [370], to blurting out a claim. Why the change? It doesn’t make sense for a successful doctor- but it perfectly fits a mafia who is anxious about a missing kill, who’s had a chance to discuss claiming with their partners, and who backed themselves into a corner where they were being pressed for a claim anyhow.

5) Jazzmyn has made repeated accusations without the slightest attempt at evidence. When she does get specific, her accusations are simply factually incorrect- something that she showed zero tolerance for in others every chance she got. Her only defense has been to avoid the accusation and retort with borderline abusive OMGUSs. (too many to cite fully here, but [568] is nicely representative)

Those are the big things. There are also littler (but still telling) inconsistencies to her claim and her attacks- I’ll refer to my [484] and my [707].

Against that, the only thing that you have is:
1) She’s an uncounterclaimed doctor.

Now, why is it necessary for a powerrole to reveal themselves before we can lynch mafia? Because that’s what mafia do. They make fakeclaims to try to draw out the real powerroles.

When Jazzmyn claims doctor, she avoided giving any detail which could help the town, and did everything she could to dissuade the town from clearing her target. (Departing from her earlier overeagerness to try to sort out the kills N1.) And there’s still no reason for a protown doctor to come forward when she did. But it does make sense for mafia trying to draw a real doctor into the open.

Like you seem to be trying to do.

Point is, Jazz claimed Doc, and if there were a town Doc, they should claim so we can for sure nail a scum tonight. If we don't get scum tonight, game over. Doc's protection doesn't mean much at this point given the dwindling numbers.
