What you just said is a possibility, Scum scum reads are also fake... not necessarily their town reads. So nobody can counter a scum reads because they dishonest.

but how does keeping your town reads yourself helps the town? if that's how all the town player plays, what would happen to the game?

And you again not giving town reads, I don't know if you think it is pro-town for not giving who you read as town but i see this in a very anti-town prespective. Or Scum who just playing around becuase it will become a deal to swing to wagons later point if you publically admit your town reads.
