why should we all claim? that seems like a pretty bad idea. like, while it's true some players have claimed, i think it's still worthwhile to keep scum guessing about the other roles. In post 558, tn5421 wrote:This game reminds me of the absolute trainwreck that early-game Police Academy was. Which, of course, was a result of the mecha-hydra Stop Getting Banned/Stop Getting Banned Again adding 22 players in a single slot to a mini theme game.
It was a metric shitshow for the first 24-36 hours until the novelty wore off, and I strongly suspect something similar will happen for this game if people stop trying to promote it.
I can only imagine how hard this game is to read for the actual players. Hopefully most of them have been able to rig up Alisae's userscript to block most of the sightseers and garbage posters like Korina, so they can focus on the other players and the occasional outsider willing to take things seriously.
Moving on, I know that my read accuracy could still use a lot of work, but I like to think I've gotten better at the game in recent years. I've recently even pulled off a win as scum that I'm proud of.
If there are any @Players that have not yet claimed, now is probably a good time to do so, unless your role has anti-claim mechanics. Somewhat doubtful, but I guess it's possible.
I'm trying out a new posting style: I'm mostly posting from a stream of consciousness format, with only minimal time allotted to correct spelling mistakes and such. As a mostly gut player I feel this should help me share my viewpoint without accidentally overcomplicating things too much.
One of the major downsides I've already seen over 4-5 posts in this style is that I have a very strong tendency to ramble on about any little thing that enters my mind.
Back to one of my earlier points, hopefully most of the sightseer people roll in and post their one post and get it over with soon.

I just thought you meant that since cause I was worried about my read that you were saying that I cannot read you well, I agree that most people cannot read you but that's since cause most people are not very good at meta. Creature for example is winning MORE scumgames recently BUT I am reading his ISOs and I would still peg them as scum °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°"I feel like you were probably what your slot needed. Pinecone is wonderful! At nearly thirteen months, she's turned into a tiny little person with a spitfire personality. She started walking in mid-April (first independent steps on my birthday, actually,) and we've got our hands full. Babyproofing a house with as many stairs as ours has been difficult, but I ended up just making what I call "safe zones," places where I've thoroughly proofed everything, then gated the exits. She has her own 6x10 preserve in the family room we fenced off with tons of toys and things that make noise. The problem is, she's already figured out half of the latch to the gate! Fortunately, I think she'll lack the grip strength to pull back the spring lock for at least a year, so we've got time. As delighted as I am that she's a puzzle-solver (early problem-solving is indicative of a bunch of positive things) she's also showing signs of wanting to climb, so we'll have that thrown into the mix in a few months when she figures out how to pull herself up and over things. In post 715, RedFlavor wrote:Hi Pine, how is your baby doing?
Aside from all of that, she's at a stage where she's learning routines and starting to express likes and dislikes. Over the weekend I cut up some pieces of breakfast sausage for her and she curiously put them on her tongue, then chewed once, made a face, spat it out, and threw it on the floor. Okay then...we don't like that right now. She's a bit of a little hellion, too. When she's done with whatever she's eating, she'll pick up a chunk of it, make eye contact, then slowly and deliberately hold it over the tray, pause, then drop it to the floor. Then she goes back for more.
Pinecone's first word was "kitty" (though she can't do the "k" sound), followed by "dada" and "mama". She has about a dozen words (or sounds we recognize as intended words) and maybe ten signs. She's confused by the rabbit, though. She'll walk up to him and point, say "kitty", but make the "doggie" sign with her other hand. It's adorable. We enrolled her early on in swimming lessons, though infant swimming lessons are really more about water familiarity and exploration. She can blow bubbles, hold her breath underwater for a few seconds, will jump in from a sitting position on the edge, and as of recently is kicking when we cruise around the pool looking for "lost" rubber duckies.
Fatherhood really is wonderful. Every milestone is a treat, and we can already see elements of my personality and Lady Pine's mixing. Her eyes have settled on my blue, but her hair is staying her mom's blond, though it does have strawberry highlights in the right light. We'll see where that lands.

I mean, if Jiffadee want to come in here and chat about themselves once a game day, I'd be super obliged."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
