In a pure sense it "ought" to be 80+ because a workshop lamp is one where additional brightness is very desirable, so you can clearly see what you're working on. It's more essential than maybe some recreational evening lighting or a lamp for walking home on a paved route.

But actually such lamps are portrayed rather dimly in media. Kerosene doesn't grow on trees? (Right? Am I allowed to Google whether it does? I think it's a safe statement but yknow rubber grows on trees so)

What if the meaning is actually the lamp is the creation of the workshop? If it is not finished being constructed, it's brightness may be dull or nonexistent. It's quite possible that it is zero. It seems like the kind of clue Hectic would give.

I decided to play it safe and go for the obvious thing associated to "wet". Could have tried to go for something else but feels risky.

personally i don't think it was a bad choice, going for the obviously highest answer so that even if we may not have gotten the four points we would certainly get at least some
