funnily enough i actually used gammagooey though as an example of what i thought was doing towny things (the skitter push) when explaining to ulyana what iw anted wrt what she did that was towny but i spent a little bit of last night wondering if the accuracy of identifying skitter's exact way of derailing was just like, a moment of exceptional precociousness or just bussing, lol. will reread blue pt today at least since the majority of alive people were in there and it's an Important snippet.

reason for scum to vote town into a kingmaker position, theory: you have to look uninformed that it is actually a kingmaker, even if people hypothesized it. thus, you have to act as if you are wagoning for real (which I think most people were doing), so, you vote town on there, and it's beneficial to vote town who will kill town for you; the sabotage is there to protect scum if killed by kingmaker and can be framed as wifom or not wifom but ultimately it is something that people cannot prove or disprove and thus resort to reading the slot more i think than the actions scum took around it.

the simplest answer is that it's used beneficially for scum which, i mean. the benefit is scum not dying lol. gamma had a 1/3 (?) chance to pick the scumslot in his reads he was willing to kill (the other two were like, ceph and you iirc, dont quote me on this) and he just swung right if he's town and forced scum's hands.

How did it help make sense of the game for you? The purpose of your wagon was to be the counter to Gamma and many players expressed as much when they voted you. Do you think Gamma's buddies are doing their jobs now?

But it could be that Gamma's town and scum were perfectly happy having that wagon. I think the latter is more likely.

Having me as a counter makes sense. Although I haven't analyzed it, I think it probably gives those shy to vote Gamma an outlet. You could probably replace me with a few others and get a similar outcome.

I'm caught up enough I think. I just haven't found anything to really dig into. The mechanics seem the most interesting thing, but I don't think it's really the right time to talk about that, at least until we have the first challenge under our belts. My reads are awful, and I have this impression that no one's done or said anything really noteworthy. Like in Radio Buzz by this time we had several 1v1s or 1v1v1s. I see a few here, but they're junior varsity spats. I'm seeing what I think is a frustrated Gamma leading the pack, but I'm not sure why he's so scum read, which makes me think I need to go back and read the beginning of the game again, which I started doing. I do kind of agree with whomever said that thing about Ceph being similar to RB, and I think I need more than just that feeling to scum read him I think. I dunno, I'm just missing a ground hold here.

You feel very weird and like muted as compared to radio buzz. There iirc u also kinda missed fhe beginning of the game but ur contributions were p quickly p townie. Idk if the difference here is that u need more time to get into the swing pf things, or if ur just scum. Dunno how to differentiate between those universes just yet

I’m shifting into ISO reading for probably the rest of my deliberation because just reading the game regularly is starting to feel like the well of info has dried
Saber’s early progression through the game seems pretty alright, I just feel like there was a lot of flowery content in the way of that and we also had the square-off about my TRs that set me against her. I’d like a chance to actually have a heart-to-heart, so she’s exempted from the kill.

I think I’m also good with exempting Cakez for a couple of reasons. Let’s get this out of the way first, yes I want to dance with him eventually. He also just, hasn’t felt scummy at all? I feel like I’m normally really good at picking out when his vibes are off. I managed to ID CL!Cakez off of a very loose grasp of his play in 3d20. Times where I’ve been off-track are probably mostly attributable to other factors.

In a way it feels like Dunnstral has been playing a different game than the rest of us, his focus and thought process seems so out of line with what's going on. While that's probably scum-indicating, I also feel like it's something I again want to put up for discussion rather than acting on now.

I feel like Toog’s contributions up to now feel very hit-or-miss. The middle of his ISO kinda feels the worst. I’m not sure how much I think it needs litigating, hrrrrm. I’ll skip a final determination for now.

Galron’s posting looks pretty not-okay looking at it with fresh eyes. I feel like from the beginning he was hoping to pocket me. I’ve had talks with a friend from this site that have led me to realize that it’s honestly very rare to see scum all against me. When I’m in the hot seat, it seems more often scum will take a broad set of stances on me. His play around my slot just feels very engineered to make a good impression on me overall.

So my list of names atp is down to (Cephrir, Dwlee, peta, Galron), with Toog as a maybe.

I really feel like Cephrir’s push on me doesn’t feel right. It feels like he’s stuck in a spot of

to push me, which kinda builds on the idea that scum were stancing up around me in different planned-out ways.

Not much to say about Dwlee’s ISO, still think the dumbtelling was bad, still not a fan of how he feels bent against my view of the game. The big thing on my mind wrt the second thing is he and Saber have felt very similar in that regard, and for a couple of reasons I think that makes Dwlee/Saber likely not S/S.

After having given myself a framework, Toog!scum feels more within the realm of possibility. His play feels at least a little in line with what I’m expecting scum to have done here.

Gonna watch the anniversary screening of Evil Dead soon. Once I finish with that, I think it’s time to give someone the boot.
