I literally have no clue why the fake shot. The powerclaim without the name-claim had me thinking he may be a 1-shot SCUM vig, but now that we know even the power is BS, I have no idea what to think.

You made a name claim with an unbelievable role claim that is easy to fake. Acosmist made a name claim with a role that is easy to counter if faked. These are two VERY different things. I have no idea how this confuses you in any way shape or form.

@Slandaar - I actually think Yates *is* answering your question...you two seem to be talking at cross purposes. He has said why he thinks the one is less troublesome than the other...now, you can call his logic scummy and attack if you wish - but don't act like he hasn't explained the logic.

IA wagon I am less against considering Slandaar's claim, but the worst I can say about him is that he's willing to lynch Yates, and that's not really worth running a train on him.

Can anyone give me a quick summary of why Yates is at L-2 or a link to where I should start reading to get a bead on that. I'm probably not going to be able to marathon the whole 30 pages until late tomorrow and want to tackle the most pressing issue head on ...

Also does Benmage really have less posts than the Mod? That's troublesome.

The basic core of the case (as I grok it) is that Yates thought the Goku-VT claim was fake and said as much and still pushed for a Slandaar lynch.
There has been other commentary from individual posters of reasoning - but the vote movement really started at that point and that's the core tell people are using. Most of the additional stuff can be summed up as "he's rude" and "he's 'better' than this".
I don't actually understand how that makes him scummy in any way whatsoever, but that's why I'm not voting for him, natch.

That's pretty normal Benmage in my experience, he's a posting sloth and your only hope is to get him in a flurry when he does post.

So here is what I am thinking ...

We've already been through 3 claims today (one of which IIRC was preemptive). That pool includes 2 VTs. I don't know if on a Day that has gone on this long it is productive to force another claim with deadline looming. Gut instinct is that the best play from Town's perspective should be to lynch between the VT claims on the basis of who each player thinks is scummiest.

So tomorrow I'm going to be looking both at Slaandar and Yates in ISO and at the wagon movement that brought us 3 claims already to see if anyone outside them really needs to be given serious consideration by me for rope.

I could maybe imagine myself voting Johhny.... thats about it.

Still happy with voting Yates.
