I don't usually try to guess the scum team on day 1. The scummy-quotient and associatives have to be incredibly high for me to feel confident about picking out a team this early.
Kabooooom has managed to get really far into day 1 without attracting much attention. If Cabd's town, and I think he probably is, I want to put some weight on his Aronis read. But, I wish he'd put more reasoning down. I'm also looking at Ross and maybe Goodfather. But, my Goodfather issue is mostly because his vote has been really sticky in the face of most of his concerns about us getting dog-eared.
In post 685, Aronis wrote:To be honest, I had you as null. And I still don't know what to think of you, but I figured I might as well move my vote, since
voting notscience wasn't going to help a thing
.
Did you remove the vote because you didn't want to continue arguing with him since he thinks you're scum, so that then there's less conflict with him?
Did you figure out why you were suspicious of notscience in the first place when you voted him? Your vote was on notscience for a grand total of ~ 12 hours...
To say the least, I'm tired of arguing with you people. Every post I make only condemns me further and I really don't care to discuss it anymore, besides it's not like any of you are going to change your opinion unless I die.

Interesting. I was wondering if you'd make something up, or give some sort of reason afterwards for having voted notscience. But nothing....
Do you have any questions that you want to ask Notscience?
Also, where did you get the idea that "it's not like any of you are going to change your opinion unless I die?" This post seems nervous.

If I wanted to ask notscience a question that was relevant to this game, I would.
I'm not nervous by any means, frustrated? Yes. Nervous? No.
187- SSK and Four Trouble are town. No elaboration, instead votes muffin without any reason behind it.
203- He lists all 3 main-ish wagons as the most likely to be scum. There's no real sign of trying to figure out anyones alignment.'
228- They've been voted most for a reason. They're just suspicious. He's changing his story and backtracking all over the place
280- Backtracks on 2 of his scumreads (at least), shares no other information, adds nothing to the game.
295- (Side note: Scum have daytalk? Looks like a scumslip imo). Defends himself without adding anything to discuss.
345- When Aronis flips scum I'm coming back to this because it looks like a chainsaw. The entirety of that post is to call Ross null.
353- This kinda looks town, I'll grant that.
391- This looks like a scumclaim imo. He's trying to blend in and do nothing to help so after we lynch his sorry ass we'll have nothing to go on. What's the town motivation for blending in?
602- Votes Selkies when he's said Selkies is suspicious all game, after he unvotes like 300 posts before.
He's hardcore lurking and trying to sit in the background and push popular wagons in an attempt to blend in and survive.
The narrative you tell doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I don't see what's inherently scummy about trying to "blend in and survive." I think weak players often put more energy as town into surviving instead of finding the scum.
187 and 203 are things both alignments do, all the time.
228 - How is he changing his story? The post looked genuine to me, something town would say.
So it went from they're most likely to be scum to "they're just a bit suspicious" It's kinda like going from a scumread to a 3/4 null 1/4 scum read without any justification. It's like he came under heat and "Oh nah man it's just a nullscum"
280 - There is nothing scummy about changing your opinion. He explains the logic behind his reads, and it looks more like town given his level of competence (clearly not very high).
There was no logic behind his Selkies read yet he avoids voting Selkies altogether. Does competence level imply alignment in your opinion?
295 - We know scum have daytalk cause of the rules. It isn't a scumslip. He further explains his change in opinion, which in retrospect was a very natural and fluid change in opinion.
Oh, missed that. Okay, I can agree on this point.
345 - What do you mean this is a chainsaw defense? To me, this post was pretty town. I don't see scum responding to my request for thoughts on Ross.
Why wouldn't they? By that, I mean pseudo-attacking the person suggesting ross being scum. Hell, Ross's vote on his wagon atm looks most like a bus vote.
353 - Why does this look town?
Self defeatism is becoming a more and more prominent town trait. This post read as genuine frustration.
391 - The town motivation is surviving. He explains it in the post. It makes a lot of sense, given his level of competence.
Again, scum newbies are worried about the SAME thing.
602 - I don't see it persuasive in either direction. It's not a strong post, but his explanation doesn't really look contrived.
197 isn't one of his posts, which you actually referring to? As for 230, I fully agreed that Cabd was letting him off too easy. See below for my thoughts about aligned thoughts.
2. Why are 255 and 258 town posts? (Katsuki)
Go to her ISO. Any posts within 5 (of non-ISO) in there are posts that matched my thoughts at that point of the game EXACTLY. Same thoughts generally=same alignment, no?
3. Why is idiotking scum? There should be more to your answer than just, "because he's voting SSK." Is there some meta informing your read?
He's parked his vote all day, provided some IIoA walls while doing the bare minimum and parking his vote on a pseudo-PL. No meta, first time I've played with him.
4. What do you think of SSK? Town or scum? If scum, why do you have a problem with idiotking? If town, how does that reconcile with your read on Aronis?
Town, but not as strong as my Bert or muffin or katsuki. Not particularly sure what you mean about the reconciliation.

What do you think of inviting Fourtrouble to the townbloc
What do you think of inviting Fourtrouble to the townbloc
Whatever floats your boat <3
Have a townread on him/her, but who knows I may be underestimating him/her
Also, KABOOM KABOOM COME BACK - you seem like you're doing a reprisal of my Open 534 (past game) coasting/prod dodging scum sequence. Starting to really worry me.

I'm pretty sure it's also a proven scum meta of mine that if I'm providing concrete thoughts and cases I'm scum, so no thanks I'm not gonna do that this game haha.

Your next post better be an unvote or a damned good reason (I'm talking trust tell level) for that vote or I'm running you into the dirt.
@Katsuki, the gamestate.

Gamestate without reading the game? Damn this is gonna be a hard one.
I'd say, selkie scum is wagoned, partnerbert and selkiescum are doing all they can to get a counterwagon going but it's not working well.
Then you have a bunch of other ppl who are useless/scum. Not sure which were the ones who called me scum or a good policy lynch/jester outside of fourtrouble, but that's a really bad assessment to be making if town (who the fuck just leaves it at
"oh this jester or policy lynch is good watch me say this as I do not look for scum"
).
Actually typing this post right now I really need to go back and look (or you can do it for me <3). But yeah I at least found my scum, there are too many who aren't even scumhunting and looking for easy wagons or leaving the backdoor open if a katsuki-wagon pops up (those are probably your selkie scumbuddies).

Also depending on how many of those ppl I mentioned in the 2nd half of my post there are, bert might just be lolbadtown.

@Katsuki, any ETA for a catchup?
If Selkiescum was really worried about a CW wouldn't they be voting the second largest wagon at the moment?
Also, I'm really feeling good about Bert being town at the moment.
What do you think of the Anoris wagon?

Stop letting scum fill the game with apathy.
For fucks sake I've posted more content than 2or3 people and ive been here 48 hours.

Going back any analyzing entire day. Will post results tonight/tomorrow.
Unvote
Because the point of the vote was mostly to pressure someone I didn't see being pressured (and who was doing something that bugged me), and see his reaction. SSK's reaction ultimately was not to react. Poo. At least some town points for that, though, because scum would likely have been more active in their defense, rather than literally saying they won't respond.
