MBL, your actions are portraying ABR as solely responsible for the mislynch, which makes his actions look much more anti-town and thus more likely to result in a policy lynch on him.
I never said he was right to "counter-claim", but I'm merely pointing out a fair amount of blame for yesterday falls on xtoxm, and ABR's actions did assist in minimizing the damage done by the first false claim.

Does everyone voting for ABR still want their vote on him?

Not that I don't think this is an excellent wagon to be getting onto, but really, you could at least
try
to act like you're not just hopping on the biggest wagon around.
Especially considering this post:
Empking wrote:Albert B. Rampage wrote:^^^^ Don't worry I'm not scum. And you raise good arguments against Liam.

I don't like this post but I don't why. I think it seems too eager.
In fact, after reading Empking's posts in isolation, holy balls active lurker alert. Considering changing my vote to him, except reading his posts in isolation also alerts me to:
Empking wrote:TonyMontana wrote:If xtoxm really is a cop, and he really got a guilty armlx, he's insane at best. In which case, he would still be our best lynch.
OMG
And you know that how?
Which is a hella good point that got buried in Xtoxm's crap on D1.
...I don't have enough votes. Think it's gonna be
Unvote, Vote: TonyMontana
, because that sure does look like a slip to me. And see also his flip-flopping on ABR today;
Vote at the start of the day,
Unvote when everyone else was doing it,
Revote when no other good wagons turned up.
TonyMontana wrote:I just don't see Cid being a scum, and as long as there's no counterclaim we're better off lynching someone else.
When did you change your mind about this, Tony?
I'm obviously happy to switch back to CML if deadline becomes an issue, but I really think this is more worthy of pursuit.

I agree with Montana here. I'm looking at the dead-list - and all four names match with the alignment they've been assigned. Cid isn't scum, the roles aren't jumbled IMO; and that's the main reason I won't vote ABR.
I'm completely pissed off that my main suspicion appears to be continuing to lurk with no intent of posting - despite being prodded at the same time as everyone who took a bit of a break.

I reconsidered it, and revoted for:
TonyMontana wrote:1) LAL

3) Somehow managed to make the case that his meta actually is reason to not think he is scum.
First of all, I took LAL back to my heart, cause that's how we rolled in the olden days.
Secondly, the way he abrasively claimed the right to lie for the sake of the town, because he had the history for it just rubbed me the wrong way.
So yes, I did change my mind, without having a change of circumstances. Flip-Flopped to quote my man, Dubya.
With 2 weeks left of the day, I'm gonna stick to it for now.

Bah - that'll teach me to reply to something that catches my eye before reading it
.
I'd like to strongly distance myself from him right now and if Zac would turn up and tell me why he isn't scum - he'd probably be earning my vote for the possible slip that IAUN caught.
Empking's performance is pretty consistent with his style in my first game here - his short posts are not so much a tell as just the way he does things.
Gonna take a bit of time to read through things and reply to some of the things that have bugged me so far...

ABR there was no reason for you to do that, and the fact that you seem proud that you did it and got a townie lynched is just dumb. If you do turn scum then I will look at Armlx tomorrow because maybe, just maybe, Xtoxm was right and just guessed on who really was scum and you decided to save your partner (who might not have been in trouble anyways since people had a hard time believing Xtoxm anyways) by counter claiming. This is probably the least likely of scenarios but i will definitely look at it if you turn scum.
If you don't turn scum, then you are just plain stupid and ruined Day one and Day two (assuming you turn town with your lynch).
blablabla you would have given the same speech to Xtoxm if we lynched a town armlx...and then you would lynch Xtoxm today and we would have wasted two days for nothing just the same, all the while I'm facepalming this predictable succession of events.
At worse, my fake-claim changes nothing and at best I catch a lying scumbag. In the middle I save you from another townie lynch because I have the reputation to make this play and the metagame on my side, contrary to Xtoxm.
No, no it wasn't. It was a terrible play with an unfavorable outcome. One liar got another liar lynched. If you weren't going unchallenged with the Cid claim I'd be driving a wagon for you right about now. I'm begging you not to try something similar based on your instincts anymore - try and convince people with arguments and evidence; not lies.

Albert, you're a moron, but I won't vote for you unless you're counterclaimed.
Protown points to Cludsy.
Counter-claimed ? I haven't even claimed yet.
You've claimed Cid - he meant until someone else claimed the role-name.
armlx wrote:

Why even mention it? Essentially you just said "This would be scummy if it wasn't!"
This is not really a tell as much as it just annoyed me.

Also, Armlx you buddied up to iLord an awful lot in Day one, and he defended you quite a bit too. It almost seems too easy to claim there's something in that but it's still niggling at the back of my mind.
-----
Tony - ABR is almost confirmed as Cid. We shouldn't lynch Cid; even if his handler is a f@$%ing lunatic [special Barret-esque Fucking, there], take your vote somewhere more sensible.

Natirasha... you've unfortunately inherited my vote since I reckon you've replaced scum. Sorry

Typo on my part. When I was typing this, I thought I had put in "I am assuming that you are talking about the fact that Reno was scum, and the points are that:" This must have either gotten lost with my constant copying/cutting and pasting.
I wasn't sure if this was what he was referring to, so I thought I would ask about it.

Fair enough - but still everything so far points towards flavors-fitting-roles. But it's a path we don't want to descend down right now because it wastes a lot of time at this stage for very little benefit.
Thanks for clearing that all up though

Hi all. I'm replacing Zac apparently. Can anyone please repost any outstanding comments/questions about him and I will attempt to answer them the best I can.
Also, a summary of what has happened so far would be nice.
