Great Scot! My good sir, Twistedspoon, let me lend you a hand up. From what I've observed of you thus far, you are one I know I can trust amongst this gallery of lurking hoodlums.

Much gratitude to you sir Him, but what could be the source if this bounteous respect other than my dashing good looks and spiffing smoking Jacket?

Your keen wit and eye for the others in attendance doth betray your noble lineage, good sir. I would not think a Rapscallion or Rogue would take such an early command of the gathering's goings-on. Your deliberation in pursuing even the earliest of leads in sniffing out villainy bolster my confidence.

What are your thoughts on the vagabond known as Hoppster and the accelerating chariot of vezok?

Off the cuff of my gentleman's suit, I feel a nervous excitement from Hoppster and another installment of the arduous rigmarole that awaits gentlemen showing early hospitality to young V. Piraka.
I am not ready to attribute Hoppster's behavior to that of a gentleman or else-wise. As I finish my diligences I will attempt to grace you with logick and reason to follow my lead.

vezok's latest outburst of rambling nonsense only proves to myself that he has nothing of value to contribute to a discuss such as this. Please do tell us your thoughts on the game and gentlemen on here vezok

Also I bid you well him, I believe our paths have crossed at some point in the distant past?
Why do you find Spoon to be such a trustworthy fellow?

Perchance, is this an observation made in jest?
Alas, I fear our good friend inHim has sustained a knock to the head from falling out of his carriage in his rush to minimise the social stigma afforded to one so fashionably late.
For Twistedspoon's activities that fit what you describe, I would currently ascribe a summation of
nuls points
.
Twistedspoon wrote:As for your nonsensical voting patterns, no not expect me to understand them or question them.
Take this above quote as point in reference to this devil who revels in his lack of prosecution.
Twistedspoon, do you believe inHim's good opinion of you to be one completely justified?
vezok, what say you about your own wagon? Do you believe this
rather amusing rage-post (that incidentally sparked a speedlynch) to be justified?

Of course
were you myself (and believe me, that is a real privelage) you would also agree that I merited trust.
InHim's trust in myself is a pleasant surprise and I look forward to 'hunting' vagabonds and scallywags with his assistance along with the rest of the town

I am inferring from this statement that you are thinking inHim is of the rapscallion variety, attempting to appear like a kindly gentleman. If I am interpreting your statement correctly, for what reason do you hold your vote?
Twistedspoon, would you say that we are still in the stage of uniformed voting?

It appears that I have neglected to mention the origins of our good friend vezokpiraka. He is the owner of a quite expansive tract of land in the state of Texas in North America. It is rich in that black gold the industries of the first world consume so ferociously. Forgive him for being unaware of the etiquette of speech and action expected of the quintessential British gentlemen.

It is a voice amplification device; the common folk call it a "loudspeaker." It is experimental and prone to mechanical failure, but it certainly allows to project my voice from anywhere in the lodge. Quite useful, indeed.

Your greatness, England is a very fine place to be indeed, but I never figured we had to be British. There are posh Americans if one sets to seek them out.
It is of utmost offense for vezokpiraka to come late to our meeting and not prepare himself for the topic of our discussion. How does he opine of Twistedspoon, who seems to be a bit unsettled about his appearance at the present hour? How does he opine of Apokalyptika's presentation of imaginality, whom he believes to be defending him? And, as troublesome as this may be for me to say, how does he opine of me, who has yet to contribute much to our meeting?
I point a
finger of suspicion at vezokpiraka.

Why, I certainly apologize if I have mistaken your nationality, StrangerCoug. From what lands do you hail?

I am an American. I call Texas home as well, but my father was in the military and was deployed in several places around the world. By birth, I am from Virginia, but I have lived in Germany as well.

imaginality wrote:My dear Caboose, you seem befuddled. What gives you the idea we are living in the past? Is it not the year 2011? It seems you assume gentlemanly manners and social graces are anachronisms consigned to exist only in bygone eras. Not so! I can assure you that there are at least some men of good breeding and exemplary etiquette even in this modern age.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you did not mean to suggest that your current mode of interaction is merely an unnatural act, a pretense at being a gentleman? For I can see only one conclusion to draw from that.
If it really is the year 2011, how did the Duke of Spoon not recognize Sir vezokpiraka's use of the vernacular at the beginning of the game? Check and mate, sir.
SC wrote:What amuses me is that you made an orthographic error yourself. Having taken classes in the French language, I should know that it should be written "tout de suite".
Oh, sod off, you mangey feline.
Since we seem to have left the RVS, it seems fitting I would remove my random vote.
UNVOTE:
I'm a little confused as to what the Duke of Spoon's opinion of Sir Hoppster is. From the vote, I would guess the Duke of Spoon thinks that Sir Hoppster is villainous; however,
this statement seems to contradict that sentiment. Clarification from the Duke would be most appreciated.
Lady Apokalyptica's suggestion to wait for vezok to prove himself made me chuckle.
Hello again, inHimshallIbe!

Greetings, fellow gentlemen of the Lodge. I regret my late arrival to the proceedings, but I would entreat you to forgive my spending of the Easter holidays with family.
Since I have not had the privilege of making the acquaintance of most of our members, save for vezokpiraka and inHimshallibe, I am at a loss as to what kind of behavior to expect from certain members. In particular, I see two of our distinguished guests accusing each other at the drop of a hat. I have encountered interpersonal feuds before, and I have to wonder if this could be an instance of such. The feud, if indeed it is one, would be something I would be weary to draw conclusions from.
As to vezokpiraka, to hear him speak is pain to my ears, however I see no cause to suspect him beyond that. I have as of yet never participated in a policy lynch, and while my one encounter with vezokpiraka ended with our loss as members of the town, it was not a loss for which I could assign him any blame in good conscience. I have to wonder as to the nature of his speech impediment though. Is it self-imposed in an attempt to be amusing, or perhaps something beyond his control? I am reminded of a game from nearly a year ago, where a player took his role most seriously and role played it to great effect and hilarity, at the behest of the moderator.
Having arrived at what appears to be the end of the stage reserved for votes of an arbitrary nature I see no reason to inscribe a name on my ballot at this time. More reading and background checks may be necessary if I am to divine the motivations of the gathered illustrious personages.
