Despite the votes that Maximus is racking up, I still fail to see the evidence against him. There is nothing wrong with that, but could someone possibly explain to me or clarify what he has done to be scummy other than his gaffe regarding godfathers and his voting for Stevie, who generally does seem suspicious. I don't vote for someone unless i fully understand what the charges are. And currently Stevie's voting for three people within just the first page (Stewie, Maximus, and then Nanook) seems suspicious enough, especially when he explains it by claiming it as a bad mood on post 17, but I am open to hear anyone's opinions, in particular less vocal people if only to encourage game participation.

Well, post 42, he says:
I don't think he is much useful to us even if he is doc. Unless the cop is smart and decides to investigate someone else (like me!) and finds an innocent.
I can't see why anyone would say that unless they were the godfather. If you are town, you know that the cop is better off investigating someone else that could be scum, instead of you, since you are sure you aren't scum. If you are scum but not the godfather, you don't want to be investigated because they will find out you are scum, and lynch you. However, if you are a godfather, the cop will find you to be town eventhough you are not, and once the cop reveals that it will be that much harder to get you lynched. This is the first reason I voted for him, and then he came on with that stuff about games this size usually not having godfathers, which I disagree with, but it's not the reason I'm voting for him. There's also the fact that he says that there's no way there's a godfather, when he hasn't even watched the show. Or he watched it but he was forced into it, whichever it is.

Did I directly or indirectly suggest that the cop should investigate me?

That statement was basically open to interpretation. I did not mean it to be taken too seriously. I wasn't joking, to say the least. In fact, I was just providing an example as to what the cop should/would've done.

While we are at it, let me just tell you who I am. I'm Gunther, the park manager, I basically know which of the four friends came to the park that night. Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe came to the park last night. I have no clue what this means. Does it suggest that our friends are mafia? Or are they masons? I have absolutely no clue and I don't even know if my role has any importance or not.

This is going to degenerate into a mass role claim! :(

I'm assuming Maximus means he's the central perk manager?
Notably missing from the perk are chandler (who died), monica and joey (because he's out with his choice/acting..?)

That would lead to an assumption that all or some of those in the perk are masons...3 in a mini? Unlikely...

The role makes sense though :?
I'm not lynching Max at this time. Maybe niMic can give more input in here.
I hate Cadmium lurking but he seems to be busy at the mo. :|

Do you mean they came to the perk? Gunther is the manager of "Central Perk", a coffee house where the friends always hang. I don't think that the mod would just give you those names because they are mafia. And please correct me if it happens in mini games, but a three person mason seems really powerfull in a 12 player mini game. I guess it could mean that Rachel, Ross and Phoebe didn't go anywhere else last night. If so, your role is not completely unimportant.

Yeah, posting while you beat me to it ;)!

But why you would think I'm the only one lurking here is beyond me. Is it because the last vote count said I'm not voting? Because that's just not right!

The consequent misspelling perk/park does not give me a good feeling: it sounds like a mistake a scumbag would make who made up a role after some googling. I'm sure the mod would use perk.

I'm not minding my vote on Maximus at all right now .. as for the Cadmium lurking bit, who knows. I think Cadmium is voting Dragon Phoenix though, at least that is the last person I remember him voting.

What don't you like about my claim? Like I said, I'm just told as to which of the friends arrived at the park last night. I'm the park manager. Period. I know which of the friends came into the park last night.

Why don't you mind your vote on me right now, Nano? I claimed. And I even said that I honestly have no clue what my results mean. Isn't that enough? Or are you afraid that you will be busted somehow these coming days?

And what about Stevie? He hasn't been around for awhile. You'd rather lynch a pro-town role than a shady lurker?

Well then good luck winning this game, town.

Dude, Gunther is the manager of the
perk
, not the park. The mod would certainly use perk and not park. That's the main reason I think you are lying about your claim. Furthermore, it seems like a pretty useless role to have in a mini. You don't know what it means, and min games are usually to short for you to figure it out.

Maximus, I am happy about my vote for very many reasons ..

You say that you've never seen the show, yet you seem to know a lot about some of the characters. Then you say that you learned a little from the hot girls that used to talk about it, but then again you mention that you don't know anything about the school. You say that lynching the doc wouldn't be a great loss, and you keep saying park instead of perk. Perk was the name of the cafe .. trust me I googled it, and instead of just saying that that was a mistype, you continue to use it.

Plus you don't even know if your role really does anything or what it means. All you know is that three of the characters were at your shop, all of which sound like townies. I'd rather lynch you since you don't even seem to really have an understanding of your role (which you should have asked the mod to emphasize on, btw) then lynch a possible doc, that can be proven innocent through a night kil.

Oh, is that it? I think I understand what you mean. Although it's not way less than I usually do but way less than I
used to
do. There's no difference with the other games I am/was currently in. And it's not like I'm not contributing at all. So calling that lurking seems a little farfetched, IMO.

I haven't voted anyone in the game yet. Both times I wanted to vote someone, the player already was too close to a lynch. And this time, I believe we already have the required number of votes for a lynch.

p.s. dear mod, could you include the required # of votes in the vote count?

While still in shock over the deaths of the previous day and night, you look outside to see that something is not right. Fashioning a big poking device made out of chopsticks, you "thread the needle" to see if there is any movement. There's not!!!! Running across the street, you find the barely-identifable corpse of
big_kahunia (replacing Phoebus) (Ugly Naked Guy, mafia)
being wheeled out.

With 8 alive, it will take 5 to lynch.

What just happened? Did the doctor save the mafia target, and a vig killed a mafia? Or could a role-blocker be involved? Either way, I guess we have a vig, unless the mafia wanted to kill one of their own.

(I'm haven't played many mini-games, so let me ask a question. Is it usual with a vig in a mini game?)

Usual? No. But it has been done. A vig? A serial killer? A target switcher? Two mafia groups? Who in the series could be mafia with the Ugly Naked Guy?

niMic, on the first night, Aelyn was scorched to death and PeaceBringer was crushed to death. Last night, Phoebus (who was Ugly Naked Guy and mafia, so I assume he was responsible for the crushing) was scorched to death. How does a vigilante fit in here? The way I see it, there's a mafia group and an SK. Last night, the SK killed one of the mafia group, thus preventing the mafia kill (although it depends on the moderator how a situation like this is dealt with, there might have been a block or something).

Oh, ok then. Sorry, I haven't paid very much attention, since my computer has been unable to access mafiascum.net for some reason for a little while. I'll be sure to read up though, now that I can.
