With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch and 5 to no-lynch.

The deadline is currently set for 5:00 pm PDT (GMT-7) on Tuesday, April 3.

Junpei is V/LA through Sunday.

As ever, any questions or concerns, please let me know.

newman, if mafia were a game of probability, it wouldn't be very fun, would it?

also why am I not on your confirmed town list?

It says to me that
almost
a majority of the town is okay with lynching someone based off of......let me try to remember here......oh yeah, NOTHING. Yup, nothing wrong with that...... :rolls eyes:

Yuck. As hiplop already pointed out, what's wrong with L-2? I'm seeing scum intent in either defending his scumbuddy or trying to gain towncred by defending a townie. Town intent not so much. Maybe afraid of a quicklynch, but really a L-2 quicklynch just outs 2(worst case 1) scum. Yup, happy with my vote.

I agree with this reasoning. People get wagoned D1, that is usually how discussion is generated from nothing. There is nothing wrong with an L-2 wagon this early in the game.

The thing that frustrates me about games here on MS is the fact that everyone plays the same way. And when anyone dares have a different opinion/POV, they immediately get wagoned.

I think L2 this early is dumb, ESPECIALLY when the "reasons" that someone is at L2 are so dumb.

How do i play like anyone else in this game, newman? I feel your theory has just been debunked.

Your strawman esquw defense is weird tho, gonna sleep on this to decide whether youre scum or town

By saying everyone plays the same way, I basically mean that independent thought is pretty much not tolerated.

You barely said anything, how ave you "debunked" anything? Also, wtf is a strawman defense?

Oh. Sorry. How is L-2 at this point in the game (3 pages ladida whatever you said) bad? Also 73 was referring to L-2 3 pages in.

Junpei's scum in hiding, but not feeling the Newman thing.

I dont think there is a problem with a different opinion. It's more that you can't explain why. I'm going to ask you again, why is L-2 this early dumb? The only problem a townie would have with it would be a quicklynch, but the scum we catch makes up for it. On the other hand as scum it's far more reasonable to be scared of L-2.

SO ONCE AGAIN, STOP BITCHING ABOUT THE PLAYERS AND ANSWER THE QUESTION. EXPLAIN WHY L-2 IS DUMB.

also a strawman defense from what I know is what you just did. As in attacking MS players meta instead of dealing with what we are actually saying

Well vijay looks townish, but Peregrine tossing suspicion at Junpei and voting voting Pappums for I guess voting Newman reeks.

To answer the question posed earlier about a massclaim: It seems to me that Yoshi has thought it out pretty well. I have a feeling that it wouldn't matter if we did it or not, cause the Mod would have likely stayed away from the obvious.

In case that was worded poorly, let me be plain. I am against it, because it won't do us any good.

Why did you unvote?

Ghostlin wrote:
No one else vote for BV. L-2 is perfect for right now. I will see voting to L-1 at this juncture a scum claim due to the fact that if BV is scum, he can prematurely end the day by hammering himself. Thank you.

This is a very strange concern. The chance of scum self-hammering This early is really low, and in a two scum game almost nonexistent. The more reasonable concer would have been to want him not at L-1, so that no one accidentally hammers. It feels like Ghosting is trying to exaggerate the strength of his read on BV, while also trying to make a cautious easily faked pro-town post.

I don't, but with 10 players I think it's a reasonable assumption.

I call bullshit. I've always found the shorter the Day, the worse it is for town, so I acutally think a self hammer is a VALID concern.

EBWOP: Also, the odds of catching scumbuddies through Day 1 play is roughly zero, so I'm really wondering what crap logic you're using there, Zdenek.

@Zdenek- which is better, a vote for Papum's Rat who is here, or Junpei who is not?

Answer: They are both scum, so it doesn't matter!

However, since Papum's is here, maybe there will be discussion.

Ghostlin: Do you think it is at all likely that scum (in a game with 2 scum) would selfhammer for a very short day 1?

by bv310
/Prodded. Must admit, I'm rather suspicious of Ghostlin for his 53. I understand being wary of self-hammers, but this early in the day any scum is more than likely going to try and prolong discussion to help his partner, rather than end the day early out of spite.

The other person I found to be suspicious (in the small info we have so far) is Newman. The entire goal of bandwagoning in early RVS is to look for reactions that seem grossly inappropriate to the situation. Newman's Post 69 is a great example of this.
Vote: Newman

Also, I'd like to point out something Vijay said earlier.

And with PR, idt self-assurance=tunneling. Although there is a rather fine line.

What do you mean by this? Do you think that non-powered players shouldn't be self-assured? What if you simply have a strong read?
