People choosing roles is not pure WIFOM, I think there is legitimate reason to explore those avenues.

GreyICE pushed similiar out-of-game influences very very hard in last years Team Mafia in PYP, I wouldn't really call him scum for that. I think its in his nature to start out heavy and utilize all resources available.

But he's pushing the attack on Haylen based on the actions of someone outside the game.

If it needs to be said, he was town that game.

Yeah, and last year he was pushing it based on numbers people had chosen which I thought was utter bullshit until he wound up being right.

And no, that isn't the whole point, but its great to jumpstart the game and probably one of the best places to start, which is exactly whats going down right now.

I don't think you can really say that everyone's teammates are 'outside the game'. The other players on your team surely had some influence on which game you ended up in, didn't they?

@GI: Here's a hint, this is our first game together, including any off-site games. Also no in some cases it isn't CYS. I personally wanted the Closed Normal game no matter which alignment I was.
