I'm here, I'm here.

I have an idea, and you don't have to agree or disagree, whatever. Today, we don't lynch anyone. Tonight, we write our names on our strips and send them off. Tomorrow we all claim whose strips we got. The no lynch today doesn't give tha mafia an advantage, because there was no kill night one, while we don't kill off an innocent townie. Questions, comments, praise, insults?

Because the others were AndrewS who had just posted to say he'd been away and was catching up, and Swinkee who had only posted once, which suggested he might have forgotten about the game.

Is your restriction just for today, or for the whole game Enigma?

OK. I looked that up.
Hardly a reason to post less. Just be on the lookout for people who can work as meat in the sandwich i.e. post between your two posts.

Swinkees idea could work, except for the dead person. I have to rethink it later.

After rereading, I have come to a conclusion:

I am absoluetly clueless.

As for the suggestion, something about it bothers me. It sends up red flags everywhere, and large setups like that are usually the type made by scum. Also, while I don't know, I find it highly possible that there is at least one role that can change slips. It would seem to fit. Further, we only let any cops investigate someone who is innocent, as the guilty probably won't go along with this. They have no motivation to, and would try to create scenarios accusing other people due to the fact that the slips wouldn't line up. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't think that's the right move at the moment.

Your ideas have sidetracked us so much. Its not even funny. I agree with Phoebus and, at fear of sounding like IS: Just shut up and lynch someone.

Theorizing about a potentially powerful mechanic our town can take advantage of should hardly be called "sidetracking". While it didn't turn out to be of any major benefit, you'd be singing a different tune if we had a brilliant plan to catch scum. It's hardly worth bandwagoning over.

Nevertheless, I think the time for theory is over. Let's hunt scum the old fashioned way, yes?

Everybody who's scum, raise their hands! C'mon now! You have to!

OMGUS vote: armix (sorry if I cant spel)

I never said my way is the only way. I just said that by no kill last night we have a unique opportunity here, that I personally would not like to be wasted. I even said that I am willing to go with other plans as well, since all plans will have to be in cooperation. I even wanted to go with the old-fashioned way. (What, by the way, is NOT, and i quote "Just badwagon someone." FOS: Phoebus)

Also, Im not quiet sure, wheter any of the plans are worthless, like Brian thinks. While it is possible, that none of them would work, I still need to think about them a little bit, before I come to that conclusion. And I do not think we should discard a potentially powerful mechanic just because we cannnot grasp it (yet).

The reason I am voting this way is after the subject was defined as useless IMO it was carried for a long time. Thats sidetracking.

Vismaior's speculation was logical, worthwhile. Armlx also had some speculation , then changed opinions a few times on what to do with slips

I am back. Sorry for the lurking.

Trying to get who's sending to who figured out seems pointless. Day 1 appears to be moving very slowly (thanks in part to me). I guess it just wants to keep pace with Night in this odd little game ;-P

Can we get a vote count up in here? 'Cause I am almost about to do some shameless bandwagoning.

I believe that armlx has three votes, Brian McQueso has two, and there are a variety of single votes out. I was surprised to discover that my vote was one of the three on armlx, so I went back to check the reasoning behind it. As it happens, I still think he was pushing a slip claim plan too hard with insufficient discussion, so I'm happy to keep the vote there.
