I do not see why that is the scum mind set.

Of course I feel the need, to just place a vote in open like that does NOT seem suspicious to you? Are we even playing the same game? Of course you try to explain why you place a vote and not necessarily after being questioned (which risks a band-wagon on you and that's not always easy to break).

Shadi and piolo scum team where they cross-vote day one in RVS? Seems interesting. I like this klazam sir already.

I've seen noobscum cross-vote in games before.

^ Decent analysis I'd say; however, wrong and I will rub it in your face when you realise it's wrong.

What surprises me is that this voting seems fated, Jon voted on me (out of nowhere) and this guy comes out of nowhere and keeps up that vote.

Also why do you address me as a noob? Iv'e already told you I'm a semi experienced player. I've played the game for a while just not on this forum.

The noobscum is piolo.
Klazam is not jon (jon is still inactive but playing), so that's two votes for you actually.

Klazam, what do you have to say about the rest of the town (those present, at least, seeing as how inactive a group we seem to have)?

You came in hard and fast on Shadi and haven't said a thing about anyone else.

You mean the "may the best team win" Slip? Lovely :|

it's strawmanning at best IMO, It could mean various amount of things though I want to hear his reasons for saying such.

Richard is all IIoA, I need moar from him.

Klazam is good and I'm defintely not seeing Shadi-scum, he seems genuine and he's open with his thoughts which is always good. Klazam, any other reasons for you thinking that he's scum?

I've seen tons of cross-voting by scum before. Voting a person doesn't say much about your own scummyness on its own. Putting a vote down on a scumbuddy is the oldest trick in the book. Actively
pushing
for the lynch helps a read a lot more if it turns out they actually are scum, but as always nothing is set in stone.
richardfrost wrote: TheEsquire (Esquire): Wants to get someone lynched on day 1: not too bad. "Completely understands" my situation, but yet says "scum have [a?] changed "life" to "lives" in the sentence and forgot to proofread it after. oops real lives too." Only person voting for me. I don't hold it against him: I realize I haven't been talking much, causing suspicions.
The point I was trying to make is that townies and scum alike have lives outside of the game. It's usually more beneficial for scum to lurk and stay out of the spotlight, so it's seen as a scummy thing to do. I've seen my fair share of both sides claim to be busy as an excuse to not be posting. Whether it's actually true or not is another story and my experience has taught me to push them to talk more anyways. If you're not helping with scum hunting, you're not helping town.

That being said, your last post was helpful and but has a little more IIOA than I would like. My vote stays where it's at for now

PEDIT: MM thinks the same way I do here. Glad to know I'm not crazy

The issue is, Piolo totally shut down all communication. That tells me we're seeing serious panic. Town players usually just respond with emotion and pretty much immediately. Piolo seems to be sitting down thinking "oh shit what do i do now"

So yeah, i'd love to see him explain it, but it's fairly obvious he won't/can't/is afraid to.

This is more of a play-style tell then anything I know many town players who don't know how to respond to pressure, but I agree with you in the respect that we need to wait for Piolo to respond

Agreed, and fairly nice analysis ms!

However, I think he just signed up for a game and got bored of it. Or at least it's possible; that doesn't disprove his alignment to scum though; so all-in-all I agree and do wanna hear an explanation.

Shadi really the only issue i have with you is that you post agreeing with everybody a lot. other than that, you're a slightly leaning town read to me.

Marangal is null, maybe slight town

Esquire/laz are null

Piolo is obvscum in my book

Not really sure what I think about klazam, i like his activity so far but no real read from it yet

richard leans slghtly scum

Jebus is... blah i don't even remember anything he's done, let's see....

yeah so his only posts are a VLA notice and a "i'm catching up guys newb slips are probably legit" posts. Until i hear more from him, I'm gonna assume lurking. Lightly scum.

P-edit: Happy bday, mr mod man

If something is well explained, then agreeing is no problem and why would I write a post saying the same stuff if I can already agree with a current PoV?

"over-explaining" when I only explained each thing once, unless questioned.
1) explaining your vote is fine, but what I'm taking issue with is your preemptive defense - the part guaranteeing the removal of your vote. That is the suspicious part, cause: see point 2.
2) Actually, it's you who is wrong: in your case, being proactive is scummy, because in the town mindset, you would never had felt the need to insert that sentence about removal of the vote. the fact you did tells me you were concerned about being suspected on basis of your vote, so you put it in to alleviate all suspicions, something that town wouldn't have been concerned about in the first place.
3) rephrasing: omgus (what you call retitlation vote) in RVS is pretty normal, and hence not scummy, but what you did- place an omgus vote, and say, "this vote will not exist in case of anything happening" is scummy because you hedge your bets, and later on in the game if it turns out the guy who you voted for is town, you can say "oh, my vote wasn't real." that's called fence sitting.
4) I withdraw that statement, now that I realize you may not have known the term omgus. you seemed to draw that explanation out a bit long, but fine.

now, on to more scumminess from this guy:

I don't see anything from the rest of the town, to push me either one way or the other. Shadi stands out the most to me.

Either way, UNVOTE: JMO and let me do another read-through of the newest page or two.
