Don't over-complicate things. I'm a miller.

^^ Also a first post, saying exactly the same thing I said in mine.

Not saying that jumping on the pressure/miller wagon as my first post was entirely a good idea or entirely town-looking, but I AM saying that plenty of you just did the same thing.
People get used to reading between the lines in posts. But there has to be something between the lines to read, and your post lacked that. Defense by attack and drawing terrible comparisons won't magically make up for that lack.

Have you played much forum mafia outside of here at MS?
Relax. Yea, I've played mafia before coming here. I understand how it works. Do you?
More or less.

Why did you compare your vote to an RVS vote that was put down before the miller claim? You said your vote was serious.

My vote was very serious. I don't know where you get the idea that it was before the miller claim.

I think the fact that It says "Lynch all D1 miller claimes" pretty much means it came after the miller claim. Just a hunch.

Wagons, biznitch.
I don't think it's that hard, being pretty honest. I mean, I'm not just saying "Lynch me", which apparently works really well on you guys. I just figured since I'm the one with the spotlight, I may as well show what I think about it.

You'll know if I ever defend hard.
You quoted the above post, which was prior to the miller claim, as though it's comparable to your "Ahoy" vote.

That's what I'm asking about. You've said that your naked vote was serious. So why are you trying to excuse the lack of anything but "Ahoy" by comparing it to an RVS vote?

Oh I see, yea I actually messed up the quote.

While this post doesn't make a lot of sense:

Bad time for a mixup. I didn't compare to the RVS vote, because I agree that that would be silly.

Ok, that makes sense. The mixup is odd, but I don't see why it would necessarily be because scumposting.

Now this is what I'm talkin about. Entering on a miller claim off a page 1 jump wagon? I think the chances are super high that this stink isn't the wacky random hijinks style, but the scum jumping a little too soon.

Generally, a miller claim is garbage but I think this one is going to end up legit. He's not throwing it up like a shield and a page 1 mercy killing is a little too cheeky for the scum ploy (miller normally is presented like a mystic shield) - Betting it all on black that early doesn't make a lot of sense.

Overall, that initial push is bad, but its no where near as bad as Aero's leap onto it. Right after it looks like its starting to calm the tee-hee prep vote leaping on is bad, bad bad. When the time comes, I'll hammer that one into oblivion.

There's plenty of juice to be had from that squeeze if its a scum lemon too. I'm not super anxious, but I do
not
want to see this mill about forever and a day waiting for the check in. I want Aero blood all over my face

Ohh yea - I've been blocked at work so its gonna be short checkins. I can peek on my phone and will hammer like a boss, but dont expect a lot of substance during the days.

In the game with two millers that I mentioned, town had a cop and a role cop, so we would probably have been able to sort at least some of the game out via investigation if most of the other town players hadn't decided to believe the claims and focus on scumhunting.

The thing is - a miller claim is a tasty steak, and its impossible for scum to not bite. It is the freest kill in the world

It's not impossible. But, scum do sometimes get tripped up.

At this point, I do kind of believe the miller claim. I feel like I should be ruthless and demand a policy lynch anyway, as a disincentive for scum to claim miller in the future, but I probably won't have the heart to go through with it.

I'll look at other places for my vote when I get back this evening.

Brian probs scum for reasons CDB has said, but by no means should get lynched before everyone's even checked in.
interesting that you felt compelled to put a read in early,

Seen it legit before; seen it used as a scum gambit before.
You express yourself rather unsure about the miller claim, but yet are so adamant about them not being null tells in your next post. Then surely you have more of an opinion on the miller claim besides 'I dunno,' especially with the potential of the growing wagon.
I tend to agree with the observations here to an extent, but was not convinced on the Aeronaut wagon TBH as at the time of reading this post I was going to say that "I am currently of a mind to give benefit of doubt". But then I read some more, not liking the attitude at all

ok fair enough, but why would my post, which is a question, over complicate things? I see it as a reasonable observation that has produced a question in my mind. Your reaction has now only increased doubt in my mind as to your authenticity. I take on board the things being said by Spyrex, fferylit and Channel with regard to the claim.

Spyrex, going to need some time to get use to your style, not saying it is bad, but different to what an old fart like me is use to...

Also would like to point out that there may only be 3 win conditions per normal rules. Mafia/werewolfs,Pro-Town and Serial Killer. As stated in the site wide rules.

In the course of looking for scum, I usually identify players I feel pretty strongly are town. I like to work toward genuine consensus about the game state with players I think are town. Sometimes my towndar works so much better than my scumdar that I wind up mostly doing a PoE process with my reads.

I sometimes get accused of extreme buddying for my play style. Doesn't bother me.
