That's where I got it from.
OH... it wasn't from my comment about a posting restriction. Got it.

Twomz wrote:But i still think BJ may have a result on TSA, so i'm going to leave my vote.
Your vote's still there, even though it's pretty clear at this point that BJ's comment probably meant nothing. Why are you still voting for TSA instead of going after people who are participating? I think you've posted a lot without asking any serious questions, and I don't see that as pro-town. If you're around to post, share the load.

Less importantly, I still can't fathom how you thought your vote on TSA was the 2nd and not 4th. We've all attributed it to a newbie mistake or not paying attention, but wow. I don't see any way that fourth vote ties into some sinister master plan, but it was still striking.

vote: Twomz

However, we need to hear a lot more from:
ziliu
keys
bamboomancer (after paper)

I don't like the fact that the people doing all the talking are attracting all the suspicion while others lie low. Quit licking the paint and contribute please.

I agree with MrBuddyLee. It's bloody annoying when we're wasting our time by adding suspicion to people who contribute a lot than people who just post to not get replaced or prodded or something like that. It's just really bloody annoying.

Back after a massively long and tiring Queen's Day weekend; I apologise for not posting for two days.
MrBuddyLee wrote:It's only bad logic if you assume that I'm not willing to appear suspicious. I'm actually willing to bring up stupid little things in order to get this game moving. Votes on me provide just as much info as they do on anyone else.
Just following your reasoning to its logical conclusion; if drawing attention to minor things merits a vote, you merited a vote there. I don't think viper's offhand comment was suspicious, but I do think voting him was an overreaction, so I'm fairly happy with that vote. And I don't believe we're far enough into the game (or we weren't at that point) that looking suspicious (in a game where not being lynched due to looking suspicious is paramount regardless of one's alignment!) in exchange for "getting the game moving" is a good tradeoff.
Twomz wrote:So what are the chances that Carlos Mencia is the mafia Godfather?
This is either
1) Scum trying to mislead us about the composition of the mafia
2) Scum using the mafia's real composition to try to look clever
3) Useless random speculation.
Therefore, it's not really worth posting, since none of these things is a good pro-town action.

BJ's no-lynch vote is odd, and I'd be interested to hear a reason for it (though I don't know if I can expect to get one considering it's BJ).

MBL's points against Twomz are fairly valid, as Twomz still has a supposedly misplaced third vote on TSA when there was almost certainly no reason behind BJ's original TSA vote. Either he's really not paying attention or trying to use not paying attention as a way to justify scum actions. Either way, I dislike his play. I don't yet see enough reason to put him on 4 votes, though.

And to MrBuddyLee once again: this game hasn't exactly been going on that long; I think it's a bit too early to spend nearly a whole post criticising non-participation. Better to spend at least some time on what we've actually heard. My vote stands for the moment.

Ha, I accedently put him at 4 votes, who isn't paying attention now?

@ MBL: So... you don't want me to pressure the people who aren't posting on day one, and instead attack people who actually have the decency to post? For me, Day 1 is a day for Joking, random bandwagons, and lurker lynches. It's not very likely that we'll catch a scum threw the normal methods (cop investigations, ties w/ other mafiasos, slip ups, scummy voting patterns, etc) so I'm trying to rid the town of Lurkers. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I play the game.

@ all the people discussing the whole "Carlos Mencia = Mafia GF"... IT'S A FREAKEN JOKE. K? Thx.

A week and a half and only four pages. I've gone over them several times and posted my thoughts. And we have three people who haven't posted in six days or more, not counting Bamboomancer who has a teacher's note.

Surely you're joking about the criticism of lurkers...

TSA is under replacement. If you know someone who would like to fill in, feel free to point them to the replacement thread!

Lol, why does TSAGod always lurk? I think he's been replaced or lurkerlynched in every game i've ever played with him...

And Mrbuddy... no, i'm not joking. I think lurkers kill mafia games, so i kill lurkers. If you're not going to post, don't join the game. The only reasons I wouldn't lynch a lurker would be if we have reason to suspect them of having a power role, or if someone else comes up as mafia. Besides those two events, i'd rather weed out the weak links... speaking of which...

. Not sure why. I'm feeling the amount of discussion so far :D, and the lurkerscum replacement :D. Now all we have to do is randomly lynch a mafiaso.

Fire away Twomz, I can account for all TSA's actions. Lurkers annoy me too, though I prefer replacing to lynching. I was following the thread before I joined anyway. No votes yet.

Random is fine with me, as long as it's a mafiaso.

I usually use night actions randomly. And, for one reason or another, I have a pretty nifty vig and cop record imo.
