He has already said that he checked me.Vaughn wrote:Alright.. theman and CES are off the list of possible "leek" for now.

Who did you check for kills last night, theman?
I'm more inclined to believe bluemonick now that tmh has claimed to be CES' scumbuddy for the day - however I suppose I could see a bizarre tmh/bluemonick gambit.

Gambit? If you don't recall, tmh/blue don't even know who their recruiting-GF is. Also, one of them won't be scum tomorrow. In fact, CES should start cooperating because it's far more likely that he'll win with us than win with scum.
Now, since the GF sends in the kills, the mafiaso don't even know who the target for each night is.
You know what? My hunch is Vismaior is the GF.

Uh, we should lynch CES? If CES turns up scum, theman is telling the truth, and he'll get a new partner at night which he can reveal to us tomorrow?
Keeping CES alive doesn't prove anything, not to mention he hasn't given us any reason to keep him around. theman is a tracker? Why are we voting off information roles?
Edit: Post #83 should be tmh/ces, not tmh/blue.

I disagree. I see no reason why tmh should be lying about being scum. So if we lynch him theres a very high chance that he is scum. Remember the whole point of us lynch scum right now is so that tomorrow we'll be 1 scum down...so IMO we should be going for the person that's most likely to be scum. As CES said tmh might just be assuming that CES is scum without actually been officially told it. In fact I think due to the mechanics of this game it's very unlikely that both scums know who each other are...otherwise you'll get mass selling out from past scums on day 2 and all subsequent days...game over for them.Vaughn wrote:Uh, we should lynch CES? Also if the leek knows that tmh is willing to sell his team out, as if he'd let him stay as scum tomorrow? If you had someone selling you out on your team, surely the common sense thing to do is to replace him.
The best think I can think of is if CES claims, and then we can decide which role we're willing to expend later.
I think we we lynch CES we're not guarenteed a scum kill, but if we lynch tmh I'm pretty he will be scum because theres seriously no motivation for anyone to claim scum at all.
In the end it really comes down to, do we want a guarenteed scum lynch at the cost of a powerful info role, or do we want to take a chance at CES at the risk of not getting scum whilst retaining our strong info role (possibly the only info role to be able to detect the leek).
Hmmm, trying to work through whether to lynch CES or tmh has be torn in two minds now.

Yes, tmh is a more likely scum lynch today, BUT as you say he probably won't be scum tomorrow, as he's been co-operating with the town today. So tomorrow we should have a pro-town tracker with us.sprontalic wrote:I disagree. I see no reason why tmh should be lying about being scum. I am the welsh soldier. O ne of the symbols of Wales, ever since they wore it on their hats into battle back in some year I understand. You can't believe that an evil leek has arisen, and so you've come to use your authority of investigation to seek it out. At night, you can investigate someone to determine their alignment. You are Protown.

I really don't see how CES is any better to keep around than tmh. Tmh is a tracker, and he's cooperating with us. If we lynch CES and he comes up scum, then we know TWO things:
1) Blue is sane, and a cop.
2) tmh is one of the mafioso, which means he CANNOT be the leak.
so to recap:
Lynch of CES:
1) Proves Blue's sanity
2) Proves tmh's alignment
3) Forces the GF to recruit another player.
4) Forces the GF to replace tmh, which gives us a pro-town tracker.
Lynch of tmh:
1) Proves CES's alignment.
2) Forces the GF to recruit another player.
So... 4 v 2. I beleive CES should claim or we should take him out. It's just the better move today. Not to mention CES won't confirm that he's tmh's partner, which i feel is strange. If indeed CES and tmh are scum partners, we may as well consider them as masons, because It's Day 1, and it's unlikely that both of the mafioso today will be scum later on in the game. Remember, we're after the leek, but CES is the best lynch because he refuses to cooperate with the town, which I find intolerable.

I agree with you, I don't think tmh would lie about being scum. However, the point of this game is to lynch the leek, not the scum. Tmh's role is very useful to us because we can narrow down who's been recruited as a mafioso, which means they cannot be the leek. If anyone makes a kill, they're scum, not the leek, which narrows down the list of possible people who can be the leek.sprontalic wrote:I disagree. Ditto on the CES, the ball's in his court, and he needs to say something important. Tmh should not be lynched due to his role and his playing style. He's sold out his scum partner, in hopes of being replaced tomorrow, which i feel is a great move. If we lynch CES as well, than we'll have two brand new mafioso tomorrow. With blue and tmh, hopefully we can get lucky and figure out who the new mafioso are, thus shortening the list of those capable of being the leek.sprontalic wrote:The best think I can think of is if CES claims, and then we can decide which role we're willing to expend later.
