Okay, well, I'm not going to respond to Fircoal's post point-by-point. I will say first of all that you seem to be misunderstanding my "fake conclusions". They're hyperbole - I don't actually think that you're waiting for the scum to say that they're scum, I just think that you're not contributing to finding them.
When did I say I wanted to lynch you? I specifically stated that I didn't think you were especially scummy, just that you were more scummy than anyone else and that you weren't contributing. If I thought you were about to be lynched, I would unvote - there's no reason to quickly end the day killing someone who is only slightly scummy.
Anyway, despite the poor logic in your post and the fact that you still won't vote me despite your repeated claims that I'm behaving in an oh-so-scummy manner, I have to admit that you still don't seem especially scummy to me. I'm still a little worried about the pace at which this bandwagon is moving, and I'm looking at PBug in particular.

I am.
What's the point of a bandwagon when it's not meant to lynch you? You express your suspicion of someone by a vote, and usually, you want to lynch people you find suspicious. Therefore, you want to lynch people you vote for. Voting for someone without the intention to lynch is worthless.

1) I am trying to find them.Sarcastro wrote:Okay, well, I'm not going to respond to Fircoal's post point-by-point. I will say first of all that you seem to be misunderstanding my "fake conclusions". 2) VOting implies you want to lynch that person, unless it is random or a very dumb, as in very un-related or fake reason to vote. If I'm acting the scummist, but not that scummy. Why a vote instead of an FOS?
3) I don't see any poor logic. I won't vote you, because your not that scummy. Your intensions are much more clear in your last post, and it makes you look more town. I think someone out there should be focused more on, now.
Look at the bolded part. Ethers says that she is not comfortable with the bandwagon of me. Yet, she thinks that trying to find scum, and starting with the scummiest is scummy. I know it's a different point of view, but I don't think she as considered that I thought he was scummier. And worse she votes the bandwagon she thought was scummy. On that reasoning. Then it looks like she gives out a hint to me. Which, confuses me, because why would town, give out hints to supposed scum?Ether wrote:Commercial break (in keeping with the flavor). Sorry 'bout that--there's been a mess with English homework.
I'm not comfortable with CEScum's or PBuG's votes, which makes it baffling that Fircoal would pick on Sarc over them and go on such a tirade. His choice gives me the impression that he's more interested in nabbing threats than scum.vote: Fircoal; that's lynch -3, I believe.
Pug's post 50 also helped me choose between the wagoners and Fircoal, with its pointless acknowledgement. Psst--you should vote someone.
Fos: Ether
I saw that, which I didn't see in Sarc, and CES. It made think you weren't scum as much. And the same now goes for Sarc. Though he started it. IT's different if it wasn't meant to lynch.Pbug wrote:I'm not trying to get a lynch out of this wagon.
I argee with the fact said at the end. Which is why I assumed that all of you 3, now 4, wanted to lynch me. Only PBug said that he didn't. But since he was a bangwagoner like CES, I thought CES of less scummy when I should have.CES wrote:I am.

Fos: CES
Ok, CES, what makes me scummy enough for a lynch?Ok, in conclusion, I think that my bandwagon hasn't done anything, to make me think they are town. But out of them, PBug is the least scummy. To Sarc, why did you pick me? Why not a lurker? Liking spam isn't scummier than lurking. Lurking is more trying not to help. While one can help and spam. I think the Lurkers deserve an Fos too. Though I've seen some of them post it isn't enough, and enough on topic. IF you disargee point out the posts, and if I forget someone it's because this is done looking at the latest vote count.
Fos List.
EOS: (Scummiest) CES, Ether
HOS: (Scummy but not as scummy as the scummiest, and this includes the lurkers.) Sarc, BHNY, Stark, Nai, PLaysWithSQuirrels
FOS: (Scummy but not as scummy as the Scummy but not as scummy as the scummiest, and this includes the lurkers) Pbug
Fircoal strikes me more like an awful fake claim that gets you lynched in under 25 posts. - Kelly Chen

Okay, I think I understand the problem here. This seems to be a matter of the two of us not using votes in exactly the same way. I (as well as what I believe are most of the people on this site) tend to use votes a little bit more liberally than you do. A vote from me does not necessarily indicate I want to lynch someone; it usually just means I find that person scummiest at the moment.Fircoal wrote:2) VOting implies you want to lynch that person, unless it is random or a very dumb, as in very un-related or fake reason to vote. If I'm acting the scummist, but not that scummy. Why a vote instead of an FOS?
I used a vote rather than an FoS because an FoS doesn't really have much substance, if you get my meaning. You can FoS whoever you want willy-nilly and it doesn't really mean much, because you can FoS as many people as you want and there's not solid record of exactly when you suspected whom and for how long. That doesn't mean they're not useful, but votes are far more meaningful. A vote makes it pretty clear that someone is at the top of your list. I tend to get frustrated with players who do nothing but FoS because it's just so easy to just throw in a couple FoSes and say that it's contribution.
I suppose I'll have to check some of your previous games - if it's true that you're very conservative with your votes, I'll be satisfied for the most part.
With lurkers, it tends to be hard to tell whether or not they're intentionally neglecting the game, and so it becomes kind of pointless to call one out, at least early in the game. With people who are posting but not contributing, on the other hand, it's a lot easier. I certainly don't condone lurking.Fircoal wrote:Ok, in conclusion, I think that my bandwagon hasn't done anything, to make me think they are town. But out of them, PBug is the least scummy. I think you misunderstood me. What I'm saying with my vote, is that if I had to lynch someoneFircoal wrote:I argee with the fact said at the end. at this point
, it would be you, the one I'm voting for. The reasons for my vote have been given already (although not by myself). Luckily, however, we do not have to lynch at this point, so I wouldn't lynch you for what you've done right now.I'll look over Ether's posts.

Well, Ether posted once. That's enough to remove the prod.
I'm pretty sure Fircoal misunderstood what Ether was getting at in her post. She was accusing you because you pretty much ignored the others on the wagon (namely, CES and PBuG, who jumped on late) and simply focus on Sarc. To say the least, this doesn't look good for you in my eyes.
Furthermore, why did you place a widespread array of fingers at eight of the twelve players. I know you can't exactly point the finger at yourself, but why no notice on Blackberry, Mariyta, nor Pug89.
Come to think of it, why has no one made any notice on Pug89? He has barely posted all game.
Unvote

Oh, I noticed him. Especially his little attempts to backtrack, even though he's not directly accused, and his blatant sheep mentality. However, he plays like that a lot, so I'm waiting for him to slip up a bit more before I pounce all over him.BeHappyNewyear wrote:Come to think of it, why has no one made any notice on Pug89? Whoever thinks grammar is not important, think again. Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

I said, I took it from the vote count. I missed them. They should be added to my lurker list.BeHappyNewyear wrote: Furthermore, why did you place a widespread array of fingers at eight of the twelve players. Sorry, except for MAriyta. Mariyta hasn't done anything really scummy, so she's low on the list. And PBug is also low on my suspicious list.Fircoal wrote:I said, I took it from the vote count.
