The key is that a viable alternative exists, but I don't know what it is yet.
I wasn't there when the RV was made, and I don't think it should have been made. So I guess you could call that defencive, or you could call it me trying to have our vote where I think it should be right now.

Do you think a joke/filler post is bad even if the rest of a person's posts have content in? (Speaking from a hypothetical non-game scenario here; I want to understand your logic)

My perception was made for that post at the time of replying to that quote. It was just general perception and i wasn't really serious about it.
Its like you see a post you feel it like scummy and you say that. It is very likely possible that perceptions can be changed right after the next post.
Nothing else you said looks sucmmy to me especially after you cleared our misunderstanding about your opinion on LMP.
